The Genre Contest is a fun and friendly competition between Wattpadders to celebrate the many authors of Wattpad.
In this contest, you have permission to write anything. Our goal is to let our Wattpad authors express themselves through whatever fashion they see fit, whether it's a thirty part, 60,000 word novel or a poem. Refer to the Rules chapter for specifics.
It doesn't matter if you have five reads or five million. Everyone is welcome to compete with friends and strangers alike! We want you to socialize with others, read each other's works, and we want you to WIN!
It may not be anywhere near as nice and popular as the Watty Awards, but we're a simple show to celebrate those who get lost in the sea of millions of others. Who knows? Maybe we'll gain popularity, and these awards will hold much more meaning?
