Today was Edwin's birthday. We were weren't doing anything crazy cuz we all know what happened last time (a/n check out Party Animal for the full story) so it was pretty chill.
_ Karmen and I entered the guys' house. Austin shushed us and we quietly shut the door behind us. Ed was still sleeping. We were going to surprise him with brunch.
Nick held a stack of pancakes with a candle in it. "Let's go." He whispered. I placed down Edwin's gift bag and followed everyone to his room.
Zion slowly opened his curtains. The curly head Dominican squinted. "1. 2. 3." Brandon gestured putting with his fingers.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR EGGWIN. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU." We all sang to Ed in harmony, kinda.
The little boy in the bed was in shock. A huge smile appeared on his face. "Awwwe thanks guys. I have the bestest friends ever." He wiped a fake tear.
"Make a wish lil boy." Karmen said with an attitude. Edwin closed his eyes and blew out the candle. "Yay." I cheered. Edwin came around and a group hug was formed.
"Aii let's go eat." Nick marched out the bedroom. Austin shook his head and followed the Italian boy out.
_ *45 minutes later*
We finally finished our "brunch" and sat in the living room. "Time for presents." I cheesed. "I'm coming I'm coming." Ed ran into the living room. "I'm here." He sat down next to Karmen.
"Me first." Zion stood up. He handed Ed his gift. "This is icy. Thanks, Z." The birthday boy made that stank face you make when you hear a good song.

"Me next." Karmen smiled. "I know how much you like fanny packs so here you go." She handed him the next gift. "Shiii. You know me so well. Thank you, Karmen." He pouted.

"Every body settle down. The best gift hasn't been given yet." Nick lowered his hands. "Nicholas! Thank you so much." He got up and hugged him.

"I don't have an introduction like everyone else. But hers your gift, bro." Austin grinned. "Shut up. Come here man." He gave Austin a big hug. Nick crossed his arms.

"Shit I don't have an intro either." B shrugged. "Aye aye Brandino really blessed." He high fived the boy with glasses.

"Well we obviously saved the best for last." I flipped my hair. Nick rolled his eyes. "Here eddy. Since Nick's thick self sat on your last one." "You not serious right. Thank you bestie" The small curlly haired boy jumped up and down. "BeStiE?!" Karmen and Zion yelled.

"Best birthday ever." Edwin smiles continuously.
_ It was later that day. We went out to eat because birthday boy was craving Spanish food. We got a booth and all sat together.
Starting from the left it was Austin, Karmen, Edwin, Nick, Me, Zion, and then Brandon.
The waitress came around and was ready to take our orders. She started with Austin.
I was going over what I wanted to order when Z startled me and put his hand on my thigh. My eyes widened. I looked down and bit my lip.
It was my turn to order. "Um yeah sorry. I'll get the chicken empanadas, with no tomatoes." I stuttered, trying to gather my words. Z went with no mess. He was completely calm.
The waitress took all our orders and walked away. Zion's hand moved up a tiny bit more. I let out a faint gasp. Nick squinted at me. "What you looking at, shark face?" I rolled my eyes. "Nothing." He purses his lips.
My eyes look back under the table. Zion traced circles on my upper thigh. I cleared my throat. "You good ma?" He removed his hand and patted my back. I nodded in response.
He put his hand back but closer. The food came to the table. I tapped his hand to let him know to stop. He listened.
The rest of night was mostly us grubbing non stop.
