Yuven couldn't believe his eyes, witnessing a Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz monster summoned on the first turn. He looks at his hand to see what he's got.
Yuven: "Not good, I've only got four Trap cards and a Tuner monster. She's not holding out on me if she's able to summon four different Extra Deck monsters in one turn."
Turn 2: Yuven.
"My turn."
He places his fingers on the top card of his Deck and closes his eyes.
"I have to bet everything on this one draw, otherwise it's over."
He opens his eyes and gives a serious look, then draws.
"Draw! Yes, just what I needed. First I'll summon Seraphic Guardian Sandu."
-Seraphic Guardian Sandu.

"Sandu's effect activates, when he's summoned I can send a Spell or Trap to my Graveyard. This allows me to Special Summon a monster from my hand, come out Celestial Sage Verner."

"I tune Level 3 Verner with Level 4 Sandu. I SYNCHRO SUMMON PRIMORDIAL LIGHT DRAGON: SYNCRESTIA!"

Yuven: "Damn! Nonetheless I activate Celestial Sage Verner's effect, when this card is used to Synchro Summon. All monsters on your field switch to Defense Mode, and not only that but you take piercing damage."

"Also when Syncrestia is Synchro Summoned, all monsters become Light monsters."
Syncrestia illuminated the field in light, changing all of the Empyrean monsters to Light monsters.

She draws a card and looks at it.

She places her fingers on the top card of her Deck and draws. She looks at what she drew.
"It's time for the final member to join."
Yuven: "Final member? Wait, don't tell me she can..."
???: "I activate the Ritual Spell Ceremony of Tranquality. Using Level 7 Ziam and Level 3 Feval as sacrifices. I RITUAL SUMMON VOID EMPYREAN HIBROL!"

Yuven looks at the four monsters standing before him with complete shock.
Yuven: "Unbelievable. A Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and now a Ritual Monster..."
???: "COMMENCE BATTLE, VOID EMPYREAN HIBROL ELIMINATE SYNCRESTIA."
As Syncrestia gets destroyed, a strong gust of wind blows at Yuven. He stands his ground by slides back a little.

"SKY EMPYREAN MARTEN, DIRECT ATTACK."
Yuven: "I activate the Continuous Trap card, Damage Suppression. When you declare a direct attack, I get to draw a card. If it's a Monster card, the damage I take is reduced by its ATK."
He draws his first card and looks at it, he drew a Monster card.
"I drew Seraphic Guardian Havard, which has 2000 ATK."

He draws again and looks at it, gets another Monster card.
Yuven: "I drew Celestial Sage Bao, he has 2000 ATK."
Yuven's LP: 950>150.
???: "SEA EMPYREAN LIONEL, DIRECT ATTACK. IT'S OVER HUMAN."
He draw one last time and looks at it, gets a Spell card instead.
Yuven: "I activate Celestial Sage Bao's effect, when my Life Points are down to 500 and you declare a direct attack. I can Special Summon this card to end the battle."

???: "Very impressive, it seems I may have underestimated him. Very well then, I end my turn."
Turn 4: Yuven.
Yuven: "My turn, I draw! I activate Celesial Sage Bao's other effect, when this card is Special Summoned. I can tribute it to Special Summon a Synchro Monster from my Graveyard. Return to battle Syncrestia."

Yuven: "Activate Trap, Guardian's Touch. This Trap negates your Marten's effect and reduces his ATK by 800. Not only that but it gives Syncrestia an additionally 200 ATK for every Seraphic Guardian monster in my Graveyard."

As Marten gets destroyed, the girl gets blown away by the blast. Scrapping on the ground until she stopped and laid defeated.

With the Duel over, Yuven goes up to her and offers his hand. She takes it and gets back on her feet.
Yuven: "You put up a good fight."
???: "Likewise, but a win is a win. As such you may ask me whatever is on your mind."
Yuven: "First of all, who are you?"
Eden: "My name is Eden."
Yuven: "Eden huh, alright then what happened between me and that Duelist?"
Eden: "The Duel ended without a victor, because..."
Yuven: "Because?"
Eden: "You became different, and not in a good way."
Yuven: "What do you mean?"
Eden: "You became more hostile towards your opponent, and you were radiating darkness. It's as if something evil awakened within you."
Yuven: "What?"
Eden: "Thankfully I was there to silence you before you killed that human."
Yuven: "I killed him?!?"
Eden: "Calm yourself, he's fine."
Yuven: "How do you know that?"
Eden: "Let's just say I have this feeling that only I can sense."
Yuven: "Well that's a relief."
Eden: "True, however he's sustained graver injuries than yours."
Yuven: "Oh..."
Eden: "Which is why I must warn you, do not engage in a Duel against another Primordial Dragon carrier. Doing so will cause you and the others to sustain real damage."
Yuven: "So that cord connecting us with our monsters..."
Eden: "Correct, that was your Life Link. When a monster gets destroyed by another monster, the pain that monster received gets transferred to its master."
Yuven: "That would explain the excruciating pain I felt from his attack."
Eden: "Indeed, should the attacks become too fatal to endure. Regardless of whether there's a victor, that person will die."
Yuven: "Got it, I'll be sure to pass it along to my friend."
Eden: "Please do."
Yuven grasped his pendant for a moment, this information he obtained was extremely crucial to him. Knowing that his friend Ami can become a potential target to this Duelist all because she posses a Primordial Dragon as well.
