We got to the DWMA and I glared at the large doors in front of me. This is for them. You can face it. We walked inside and got our scheduled from Lord Death. When we walked into Stein's classroom the twins froze up. Tears welled up in Kaibo's eyes and she walked out of the room. I ran after her and gave her a comforting hug. She stayed just outside of the door so she could compose herself. Hogo was still frozen. Anger filled me seeing them like this and I stormed down to Professor Stein. Students watched at the edge of their seats as I got closer and closer to him.

"Deadbeat!" I hissed while hitting him with my soul wavelength

He was sent flying from his chair and into the wall behind him. He collapsed for a few minutes before stammering to his feet.

"You just abandoned Tess when she was pregnant and didn't even bother to raise your kids when she died eight years ago; just left them to be raise by a stranger who was a kid themselves." I growled "Be glad I don't turn this class into a live dissection here and now with you beneath my knife."

I walked over to Hogo and hugged him before pulling him to a few empty seats. I let him settle into his seat then went off and got Kaibo, bringing her to the seats as well.

"Anyway..." Stein said awkwardly "Maka Albarn."

"Here."

"Death the Kid."

"Here."

"Soul Evans."

"Here."

"Liz Thompson."

"Here."

"Patty Thompson."

"Here."

"Black Star."

"YAHOO!"

"Crona Gorgon."

"Here."

"Tsu-" he cut off when I suddenly stood from my seat

My body was trembling and I fought back tears as a million thoughts flooded my mind so fast I couldn't keep track of any of them.

"Can I help you Skye?" he asked

"I..." I said in a frail and quiet voice "I need a minute."

"Tsubaki." I heard him say casually from behind me as I began to leave

"Here." she responded

I walked out of the room without another word and jumped up so I was sitting on top of one of the guillotines that lined the hallway. Memories flooded my mind. I tried blocking them out but it failed. I sighed and pulled out my karambit. I stared at the curved sunrise blade.

I slowly let pain drive away the memories as I sliced through the skin of my forearms

I slowly let pain drive away the memories as I sliced through the skin of my forearms. Beads of my black blood formed at the cuts and slid off my skin, falling to the floor below.
