Chapter 7: It’s A Girl Thing

Steph **POV**

I woke up to find Sky and Tia In the kitchen singing along to 'What Makes You Beautiful' by the one and only One Direction, whilst making pancakes, bacon and eggs for breakfast. I sat up waking up Leah and Amber in the process of standing up.  

"Sorry guys"I mumbled rubbing my eyes 

"No need to apologize we all know your not coordinated" Leah said walking into the kitchen.  

"Wow someone's grouchy this morning"I remarked 

"Yes we'll Steph you didn't get stepped on now, did you?"Leah asked 

"Hmmm good point. Your forgiven"I told Leah 

"For what?!"Leah yelled  

"So breakfast nearly ready?"I asked Tia and Sky changing the subject. I hurried off and grabbed a plate of bacon and took it to the table avoiding Leah. 

"Don't try and change the subject Stephanie!"Leah exclaimed  

"Come on Leah!"I yelled jokingly  

"Yeah breakfast!"Leah yelled hurrying away from me. All the girls new not to mess with me. And the guys too for a matter of a fact. I was actually the strongest in my class which was a massive advantage. We had just moved everything to the table when Lilly walked out. 

"Hey aunt Lilly!"Amber said cheerfully. Even though Lilly was Sky's aunty we all considered her our own.  

"Hey girls, getting ready for a big day ahead of us?"Lilly asked 

"Yeah, come help us eat all this amazing food!"Tia said 

"How could I pass on a meal cooked by Skylar?"Lilly said hugging Sky. 

"Now that I agree on!"I yelled 

"So what time do we have to leave?"Amber asked going in to her usual worry mode. 

"Umm about 11am"Leah said with a mouth full of bacon 

"OMG that's like only 2 hours away!"Amber yelled. 

"Shit! Your right! We better get moving it takes like half and hour to get there!"Lilly yelled. We all quickly finished breakfast and hurried off to get ready.

Sky's **POV**

"Shit! Your right! We better get moving it takes like half and hour to get there!"Lilly yelled. We all quickly finished breakfast and hurried off to get ready.  

"Shit, shit, shit we have 2 hours till we have to audition for the X-Factor! Shit gotta get ready!" I yelled as I  ran upstairs to my room and opened my wardrobe and immediately pulled out my favourite outfit. 

My red coloured skinny jeans, my black singlet top, long grey cardigan and my signature white and rainbow Chuck Taylor high tops. I quickly grabbed my fringe and platted it to the side giving me a crown, other than that I left my hair alone so it fell naturally in waves. I brushed my teeth and was ready to go in a total of 20 minutes. I walked down stairs and sat on the couch watching the loop. I had been sitting there for about 15 minutes on my phone and listening to all the girls get ready when I heard a knock at the front door. I opened it to see 5 very familiar faces. 

"Hey guys! Welcome back to the mad house!" I said welcoming in Jake, Luke, Michael, Callum and Ashton.  

"Are they still getting ready?"Callum asked, raising an eyebrow 

"Yeah, where as I've been ready for like 15 minutes!"I informed the guys raising my voice so all the girls could hear.  

"It's a girl thing Callum."I said simply 

"Oh that makes sense."Callum replied  

"I was just watching the loop waiting for them to get ready."I said to the guys plonking back down on to the couch.

45 minutes later all 11 all of us were piling into the hummer. It was massive inside. Michael came and sat down to my left while Tia was to my right.  

"Hey you look very nice today Sky." Michael said to me 

"Thanks. But you know I always wear this"I pointed out to him. 

"Yeah true, but you still look very nice today" He replied. I felt my cheeks redden as I looked to the ground.  

"You know I think it's kinda cute how you blush every time some one compliments you."Michael continued. Steph who happened to sitting right across from me, was watching the whole thing.  

"Could you two please save all that stuff for when I'm not around!" She yelled bringing everyone's attention to Michael and I.  

"What exactly were we doing wrong?"Michael asked innocently. 

"Ohh please you's were getting all lovey-dovey!"Steph yelled 

"No we were just talking do you have a problem with that Steph?"I asked 

"Sure yeah"Steph said turning away to talk to Leah.  

I turned back to face Michael and was met with his beautiful blue/green eyes. I couldn't stop staring at him. Skylar you have to stop he's you best friend! I thought but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't.
