Chapter 5: Friends Are Family

Class was finally dismissed and our group all walked back to our lockers together. We all grabbed our stuff and started the short walk to my place since I only lived 10 minutes away from school. We all walked in to my place and dumped our bags in the hall way.  

"Hey sky, when's your auntie get back again?" Amber ask I looked over at her as I entered my kitchen. She was at the backdoor playing with my English springer spaniel Arlie. 

"Lily gets back around 11. And you can bring Arlie in just make sure he stays on his bed. Now who wants milkshakes?"I asked. The major thing that everyone loved about me was that I always cooked and made the best food, especially desserts. When it came to food technology at school everyone wanted to be my partner. The girls would even call me the queen of baking. 

"I think I speak on behalf of everyone here......uh YES!" Steph said I pulled out the milkshake machine while everyone got comfortable. The boys were all in the lounge room watching t.v, while Amber and Tia were playing with Arlie. Steph and Leah were in the kitchen with me 

"I think we should get practicing soon"Leah suggested  

"God Leah we just had a double maths. Let us rest a little" Steph exclaimed 

"Mmm she's right and Leah we've got to be careful and not to practice to much" 

"Sorry, I guess your right. I'm just a little nervous" she apologized. I finished making the drinks and Steph and Leah helped me take them down to the lounge room. We all squashed up on the couch and I was lying on the floor with my puppy to my left snuggled up to me and Michael to my right on the beanbag the t.v was on MTV and we were all just watching the clips and laughing and talking.  

"Hey you's are sleeping over tonight yeah?" I asked the girls. 

"Yup" Tia said just as my phone went off. I reach up to grab it off the coffee table. I checked it:

Hey honey just letting you know I arrive @ 10:30 so I'll be home around 11. And wait for it......I got you and the girls a hummer for tommoz. C u soon XOX Lily

"No way!"I yelled 

"What" Steph said looking down at me.

"My aunt just sent me a text and you'll never guess what she did for us"I told everyone 

"What?"Tia asked 

"She hired us a hummer for tomorrow!"I squealed 

"That's insane your auntie is like the best!" Amber yelled. The guys all just sat there like 'what the hell'. 

"You know there's gonna be a lot of empty seats in the hummer now."I said slowly looking from the guys to the girls  

"So why don't you guys come with us tomorrow!" I suggested  

"Omg that's such a good idea!" Leah yelled. 

"Come on it would mean heaps to us!" Steph added giving all the guys puppy dog eyes. 

"Sure why not I don't have any thing on tomorrow."Luke said 

"Great, Michael, Jake, Callum, Ashton?"I asked  

"We can come" Callum said answering for Ashton too. 

"I can make it" Michael said. We all looked at Jake

"Yeah I can come" 

"Yay! Tomorrows gonna be so much fun!" I exclaimed. I quickly sent each of the guys a small text with the times and stuff. Callum looked down at his phone
