Chapter 1- Forbidden For Life
**Flash back 1 year ago- Skylar's **POV**
"Mum, dad you's can't do this. IT'S UNFAIR!"I screamed at my parents.
"Trust me, in a few years time when you graduate from university you'll be thanking us." My mum said all high and mighty. As if she thinks she was winning this argument. But nothing new there.
"I don't see how the x-factor which by the way is in like a year’s time, will affect my chances at uni if anything it would greaten it" I argued.
"You will not be auditioning and that's final! Now your sister, mother and I will be back in 3 hours." My father yelled back. That’s it the argument is over. I just stood there in the hallway as my parents walked out the door. I heard my mum’s car drive off down the street. I ran straight upstairs to my room and opened up my laptop and hopped on Skype. I immediately saw that the four people that I need most right now were all on as usual. My four best friends Leah, Amber, Steph and my cousin Tia. I sent each of them an email.

I'm not aloud to audition next year! And my parents are forbidding my from singing for like ever! They said that it would get in my way of school and stuff up my chances with uni! What do I do? :'(

I let out a sigh and 5 seconds later got 4 incoming video chat invites. I accepted them and let out a laugh as I saw the image of ambers room pop up on my screen. It was all hunger games and Josh Hutchinson. Next to that an image of Steph's room popped up. Steph's room was ALL One Direction. Steph's crazy obsessed with 1D, she's always the first to know any thing about them. Then the image of Leah and Tia's rooms popped up either side of Amber and Steph's. Tia's room was all images of her friends. Whilst Leah's room was pretty much plain except for a few actors like Andrew Garfield and other hot actors.
"VAS HAPPININ'!!!" Steph yelled.
"Oh god Steph thanks for letting me know that my volume was up full blast!" Tia exclaimed whilst covering her ears.
"Oh whatever! Now what happened?"Steph asked me eagerly.
"Well I said to my parents that we came up with the idea to audition for X-Factor as a group. You, Amber, Leah, Tia and I. They asked when it would be and for how long. So I told them that it's in a years time but we’ll practice when ever we can and if we got in it would go for a couple of weeks or when ever we would get eliminated. They said no. So me being the stubborn child I am said why..."
"Oh god"
"Shut it Steph! They said that it would wreck my schooling and stuff up my chances of getting into university. So I said if anything it makes them greater. Then they said I won't be and that's final and that I'm forbidden from singing any more." I explained. I sat back and buried my face in my hands and started crying.
"Come on, don't cry sky. I mean how can they forbid you from singing, that's stupid. I know I wouldn't make it 3 hours. It's just what I do!" leah said trying to help.
"And it WOUlD actually greaten your chances at uni and would still be able to do school in the house if we got in."amber agreed
"Yeah we'll I don’t want to stuff up you guys so I still want you girls to go ahe-" I was cut off as the phone started ringing. I let out a sigh.
"Hang on girls I have to get this." I said slowly getting up. I grabbed the phone and notice it said 'unknown number'.
"Hello?"I asked
