Chapter 12

"Do it."

Before I could figure out what he meant, I felt someone push me, Jungkook and the others into the portal. To say that I screamed would be an understatement. I screamed at the top of my lungs as we fell. How the portal was positioned was that it was at the top of the aforementioned place and would drop us into the water...or so it would seem. 
As I was falling, I saw Jungkook falling with me, hair and ears flopping in the velocity. I reached out for his hand, only for a shadow to come between us and scoop Jungkook in his arms. I looked in shock as Taehyung had caught him, and a huge pair of black wings protruding from his back as he and my brother floated in the air. I also noticed him looking in awe at the wings as I fell closer and closer to the pool.

"SOMEBODY CATCH SHIRO BEFORE SHE GETS WET!" I heard Taehyung and Namjoon yell as it was only me and Jin falling. As I neared the water, I braced myself for a wet impact, squeezing my eyes shut and placing my hood over my hair , only to stop all of a sudden and hearing a splash. I slowly opened my eyes to see my face centimetres away from the pool, causing me to jerk back a bit, not realising someone was holding me.
"Shiro! Calm down! You're gonna make the both of us fall!" I heard Jimin say as he held onto me tighter as to not drop me. I looked up to him and saw that he was floating as well.
"What the fuck?!" I exclaimed as I looked up past Jimin and saw how far we had actually dropped.

"Where's Jin?" I said as I looked around whilst Taehyung and Jimin planted on the ground, letting go of me and Jungkook as we staggered across the ground, causing the two to chuckle.
"Where else do you think he is?" They both said as they calmed themselves down. Me and Kookie looked at each other in dread as we looked at the pool.
"OH MY GOD! JIN!!!" We shouted as we went to the edge of the pool, hoping to find Jin.

"Don't worry you two. Jin's fine." Namjoon said as he also floated down, landing next to Tae and Jimin, smirks plastered on their faces. As we stared at the trio, we heard splashing water come from behind us, only to get our faces wet from god knows what. I looked over to Jungkook, who's face had scrunched up due to the amount of water thrown in our faces. I could hear the three guys laugh their heads off as we got our faces drenched 
"Seriously?! It's not funny!" Jungkook said as he wiped his face with his sleeve.

"Oh, did I splash you too hard? I'm so sorry!" I heard Jin say, causing me to turn around to find him in the water....with pink. Hair. 
"Jin! When did you dye your hair-" Before I could finish, Jin got himself out of the pool, sporting a pink fish tail. Me and Jungkook looked at our dorm mate in shock as he lay on the cold wet ground, tail on full display.

"You're a mermaid?!"  We both said at the same time.
"Technically, yes. I'm actually a merman. Seeing as I'm male." He pointed out as he dried himself with a towel Namjoon had hidden in his jacket. I then turned around to Taehyung, Jimin and Taehyung, eyes wide as plates at the last few minutes.
"Taehyung, Jin said that you both had to reveal what you were. Seeing as Jin is a merman, then I'm presuming you're an angel?" I questioned him as Jin stood up and went to stand next to his boyfriend.

"You've guessed correctly." He said as he opened his black wings, again causing my brother to look in awe. Not gonna lie, but his wings were absolutely breathtaking, besides the fact that they were black. As the others started to talk amongst themselves, I headed over to where Jimin stood. At first, I was apprehensive as he was the only one who hasn't told me the truth. But the curiosity inside of me wanted to find out.

"So....your turn." I told him. He turned to me and brushed a hand through his hair, thinking about what he was going to say. 

"Can you guys come back now?! I don't want to accidently fall into this and dissipate!" Yoongi shouted from the dorm as he and Hoseok stared down at the six of us. I looked over to Jimin who mouthed a "sorry" before picking me up bridal style, causing my face to turn bright red. As soon as everybody had someone to carry (Namjoon carried Jin, Taehyung had Jungkook), we all flew up to the portal, taking us back to the dorm.

Once we arrived back in the dorm, with all the new information I had to take in, I turned to Kookie.
"Was this what you wanted to tell me?" I asked him bluntly, alerting him of my rising anger. He looked down at the floor, ears flopping over his dark hair and nodded subtly.
"I'm really sorry Shiro. I was going to tell you but-"
"But NOTHING JUNGKOOK!" I interrupted him, causing him and the others to flinch.
"YOU HAD AMPLE OPPORTUNITY TO TELL ME ABOUT THIS! AS WELL AS YOU GUYS! YOU COULD'VE TOLD ME ON THE FIRST NIGHT, BUT OH NO, YOU HAD TO TELL ME AFTER GETTING INVOLVED IN A FIGHT WITH A VAMPIRE, AS WELL AS THE FACT THAT MY LIFE WAS ON THE LINE HERE...!" I continued to rant and yell at the boys about not telling me the truth straight away. All they could do was stand in shock as I gave them an earful. 

After yelling at them for what seemed like ages, I stormed off to my room and crashed onto my bed and fell asleep, not wanting to hear their side of the story, and not hearing the true nature of Jimin.

End of flashback............

I didn't speak to Jungkook until a few days later, and I forgave him. I understood that he was trying to protect me, but I can protect myself. Since knowing the truth, I still got abuse hurled at me for what happened, but I was more cautious of trying not to piss anyone off in the fear of what had happened on Monday occurring again. I kept to myself mainly and ate lunch alone. 
There were times where the boys tried to apologise to me, but I wasn't accepting their apologies...not yet at least.

However, there has been some good things happen since starting at this school....I actually made friends, besides the guys. There was a girl named Jisoo, who I met in my Art class, who was a seer (someone who can see the future), and her friends Jennie, Lisa and Rose (A vampire, witch and mermaid) and some guys from another dorm who I didn't get to speak to. 

As I was heading out to explore the Music department, I made a small note on the fridge to let the others know that I was heading out and didn't know what time I was going to be back. Before I went out, I made sure I had my dorm key so I wouldn't be locked out, but before I could leave, I heard a voice call to me.

"Shiro."

I turned around to find the owner of the voice.

"Jimin." And there he was, standing in the hallway, causally clothed and leaning on the wall. I looked at him annoyingly as we had a staring contest.

"Shiro, please. Let me explain."

"There's no need to explain Jimin. You and the others hid the truth from me until my life was in severe danger. God knows how long it was going to take until you actually told me the truth." I remarked to him as I picked up my bag and made my way to the door.
"Shiro! We were going to tell you when you had settled here. But because of what happened, we had to tell you sooner. Don't make it out as though we were never going to tell you!" He argued as he stepped closer to me, anger evident in his eyes.

"I'm leaving. Don't wait up for me." I said bluntly before slamming the door in his face.

I'm going to try and focus more on the other relationships so the next chapter will mainly focus on Namjin, Sope/Yoonseok and Taekook's blossoming relationship (They haven't explicitly said that they like each other yet, only kissed).
