Friends with the Supernatural (A BTS Fanfiction)

Prologue

Shiro's P.O.V.

7 years ago....

"Now Shiron, be a good girl for Mr. and Mrs. Jeon will you?" My father knelt in front of me as my mother was talking to Mrs. Jeon. About a month ago, my parents received an invite to a friend's wedding that they knew from school. So, in retrospect, my parents decided to leave me in the care of our next door neighbours, the Jeons.
"I will, Dad. I promise you. Besides, I have Kookie to keep me company!" I proudly state as I grabbed onto my best friend's hand. I looked over to my friend who gave me his signature bunny smile. I let go of his hand and ran up to both of my parents and hugged them tightly.

"I'm gonna miss you Mum, Dad!" I said as my eyes started to turn watery. This was the first time that my parents were leaving me as it was their first time being away from me. You see, I was an only child, meaning that all of their attention was all on me. 

We moved from the UK to South Korea when I was 7 because of my dad's work. He was an English teacher, so the language barrier was a difficult one to cross. Luckily, we had our next door neighbours, the Jeons to help as they were understanding of our situation. Sure, my dad always left me and my mum when he went to work, but this was different. I looked up at my parents with glassy eyes, brimming with tears which were threatening to fall.

"Don't worry sweetheart, we'll be back in a few days. Besides, think of this as a big sleepover with Jungkook." My mother explained to me as she stroked my dark hair and wiped my cheeks of the tears that had started to fall and patted Jungkook's head. I looked at both of my parents and nodded, meaning that I understood what they meant.

"Here's our mobile numbers. If anything happens whilst we're away, please contact us using this." My father stood up and handed Mr. Jeon a piece of paper with the necessary details in which to contact them.
"Thank you. Now, you better get going or you're going to miss your flight." Mr. Jeon stated to my parents just as my mother had gotten into the car. We walked up to the car with my dad and gave him and my mum one last kiss and hug before my dad got in the car.
"Make sure you contact us when you get there." Mrs. Jeon said as she picked up Jungkook and me. Mrs. Jeon was a lovely lady who always gave me and Jungkook sweets whenever I came over and has always treated me as one of her own.
"We will do! Bye Shiron! We love you!" My dad shouted as he started the car and was driving off to the airport.
"Bye! I love you too!" I shouted back and cried as the car became a small dot and drove off. At this point, I was balling my eyes out, turns out separation was harder than it sounds.

"Don't worry Shiro, your parents will come back. Besides, you got me!" Jungkook exclaimed as he hugged me, whilst we were both still in his mother's arms. Since meeting Jungkook, I have always felt better when I was upset because he knew how to cheer me up, despite being the same age as me. I smiled at him and started to stroke his long ears.

At first, me and Jungkook didn't get along, but when I found out that he was a bunny hybrid, it all made sense in my 7 year old brain that he was different from the other kids. As well as this, whenever we out in public with our mums, I would always protect him from bullies and horrible people. So, in a way, I see Jungkook as my little brother.

After waving my parents off, we went back into the house and played in the back garden until it was time for dinner and ultimately, bedtime. Blissfully unaware of what was about to occur.....

No one's P.O.V.

NEWSFLASH! BREAKING NEWS! NEWSFLASH! BREAKING NEWS! 

"A flight on it's way from South Korea to the United Kingdom crashed and blew up along its journey to the Western country. The plane crashed whilst crossing over Asia and blew up just minutes after crashing onto the ground. It is believed that there were no survivors. Our condolences go to the families of the victims, who will no doubt, be affected by this awful tragedy.
