Sahil helped Sheetal stand on her feet and slowly took her to the benches kept in the lobby. Being a doctor, he was trained to see the symptoms and he didn't have to think twice to know Sheetal had a weak heart. She was having a hard time breathing and sweat broke out of her face as she tried to keep her eyes open.

"Is your chest paining too much?" He asked. Sheetal nodded, "Little.." She muttered between exhaustive breathes. "Okay. Relax and try to take deep breaths." Saying so, he held Sheetal's wrist checking her pulse.

"What are you doing?" Radhika asked trying to hold her mother's arms but at the same time throwing a glare at Sahil.

"What do you think?" he glared back. He can tolerate any sort of comments, any misdemeanor but when he is looking at his patient, he doesn't care about anything apart from the said patient.

"Are you going to stand there and watch me check up on your mother who just fainted or will you get her some water?" He glared back.

Fainted?

"Ma'am, do you have any heart-related diseases?"

Sheetal nodded again, "I have a weak heart. A couple of years back, I had a minor heart attack."

"You are still here?" He glared looking at Radhika.

With a gulp, she immediately ran towards the end of the corridor where the water panel was kept.

Focussing on Sheetal, he massaged her back. "Don't worry.. It's nothing serious. It's a mild chest pain.."

"Water.." Radhika stammered bringing the glass in front of Sahil. He motioned her to give it to Sheetal.

"Mumma. Water.." Radhika slowly made her mother gulp down the contents. Watching her mother so weak, she felt her own heart crush at the sight. She was never used to seeing Sheetal like this. Her mother had always been fierce, strong headed and funny. Sometimes, really annoying. Definitely not helpless.

"You must take your medicines in time Ma'am. And when you have heart conditions, avoid stress at all costs." Sahil told her still massaging her back.

Sheetal sighed finally regaining her composure. But her chest pain hadn't cured yet.

"If you need anything, you can always stop by the hospital." Sahil pulled out his visiting card and handed it to Sheetal who took it with a smile.

"Thank you, son."

"I am a doctor, it's my duty. But I strongly recommend you to take your tablets and rest as soon as possible. The chest pain won't reduce otherwise"
