Your POV
I got in and out of KFC easily but when I hit the crowd, I knew I would have to fight to get through. I barely see the curb closest to the bus over the crowd but I could see it well enough to venture there. I held on to the food and began to push through. Remembering my claustrophobia, I began to breathe heavily. I closed my eyes for a second then began to push harder against the crowd. I finally made it to the curb. There was a man standing there. He looked exactly the way Niall had described him. "Uh hey. I'm (y/n). I have the food." He nodded and instructed me to follow closely behind him. The crowd seemed to get tighter the closer we got to the bus. My breathing was heavy and very unsteady. I could feel myself getting dizzy. The bus wasn't far. I can make it.
Niall's POV
There was a knock on the door. Paul went to answer it. "We need help." Some one called. I ran to the front of the bus. The crowd errupted into an even louder chorus of screams. Paul was trying to pull (y/n) into the bus. She was losing her consciousness. I helped Paul and we carried her to the couch. "Get a cold rag," I told Harry. I turned the fan on and took the rag from Harry, placing it behind her neck. Her eyes began to flutter open. She tried to sit up but grabbed her head before laying back down. "It is going to be okay," I told her. She looked very confused. "My head," she sighed. I got her Tylenol and a glass of water. I helped her sit up to take it and then propped her head on a pillow. "What happened?" she mumbled. "The crowd must've got to ya. Why don't you try to take a nap?" She nodded her head and closed her eyes. She looked so peaceful sleeping.
We finally arrived at the parking garage. (y/n) was still asleep and I didn't want to wake her. I had to go to the stadium for sound check. I wouldn't be back before the concert. I asked Mark (one of the roadies) to stay with her. I instructed him to not let her sleep past 5 so that she wouldn't miss the meet and greet. I wrote her a note and headed to the stadium.
Your POV
I woke up on the boys bus. I couldn't recall what had happened. All I could remember was pushing through a crowd of people. I slowly sat up and looked around. The bus was empty. I looked out the window and saw Mark standing there. I walked to the door to ask Mark what had happened but there was a note from Niall.
"Hey love,
thanks for the lunch. It was great. Don't worry everything is okay. The crowd got to you. You were a little ditsy getting on the bus but you'll be just fine.
See you soon,
Niall"
My head hurt pretty bad. I checked my phone. 5 o'clock. I had to get going to the meet and greet. I opened the door. Mark smiled. "You ready?" he asked. "Yeah. I guess so," I managed to smile back. He took me to the venue where my Make A Wish child was waiting. I put on my best smile and went through the routine.
Niall wanted me backstage again so I stayed after taking the people to their seats. I smiled when I saw Niall. He ran to me and gave me a hug where he nestled his head in my neck. "You feel better?" he asked. "Not really. My head is pounding." He frowned. "Why don't we take it easy tonight. We can watch a movie or something. Just chill." "I think I would like that a lot." His frown quickly turned into a smile. He gently kissed my forehead and left to go perform.
Niall's POV
When the concert was over, I found (y/n) sitting in a chair holding her head. I bent down beside her. "Your head still hurting?" I whispered. "Yeah," she replied. I put one arm under her knees and another behind her back and picked her up. "Niall. Put me down. I can walk," she whispered leaning her head into my chest. "I think I'll just carry you." I walked her to the bus and sat her on the couch. "Thank you," she smiled, "for everything." I kissed the top of her head before getting her more medicine. "I am going to be so out of it from all this medicine," she laughed. "It's okay. I won't let anyone bother you. Do you want to watch a movie?" "Maybe I should just go to the hotel. I don't think I can concentrate or stay awake for a movie." I sat beside her a pulled her close. "I don't want you to leave. No movie. Let's just talk." She nodded and laid her head on my chest. I asked her questions about her life and all of her favorite things, but before long she was sleeping.
Your POV
I woke up on the bus again, but this time it was moving and all the boys were present. Panick ran through my body. My flight. My luggage. My hotel. "Good morning," I heard a cheery voice say. It was Louis. "Morning," I stuttered back. "Where are we?" I asked him. "Oh probably like an hour away from St.Louis," Louis replied. "What!" "Niall," Louis called, "you have some explaining to do." He laughed and walked away. Niall appeared with a towel hanging dangerously low around his waist. "I see your awake. Well last night you fell asleep on the bus and after yesterdays events, I didn't want to wake you. I called your hotel and the airline. I got your luggage. Checked you out of your hotel and cancelled your flight. I figured you could just ride with us for today." He smiled. "Oh. That's really nice. Ummm so do you just want to drop me off at my hotel in St.Louis?" "Well here is the thing. You have to be at the same places we do plus you are lonely flying so if you want to then you can just stay with us. There is an extra bunk and plenty of room." He looked nervous. I hesitated. "So what do ya say?" he asked. "Are you sure it is okay with everyone else? I really don't want to be an intrusion." All the boys nodded their heads in approval. "Okay. Well I guess I'm going on tour with One Direction," I giggled. "Woohoo," Niall yelled.
I spent most of the day calling to cancel my flights and hotel reservations. Except for one, my flight back home.
Niall's POV
Tonight we don't have a show so I want to take (y/n) on a proper date. She has been sitting on her computer all day while talking on the phone. As she hangs up the phone, I walk over to her. "So what are your plans for tonight?" I ask her. "I hadn't really thought about it." "How about a real date? One not on the bus." She smiled but it soon faded. "Are you sure thats a good idea?" she asked. "Positive. I'll protect you. I promise."
