Something was ringing, a loud blaring sound that was definitely not the usual alarm. An arm reached out and grabbed Ava by the shoulder, shaking violently.

"Mmm" Ava muffled, the sound smothered by the pillow, so it came out sounding more like hmmf "Five more minutes"

The body next to Ava abruptly got up, taking away the warmth as the comforter slid off of her body.  "What the fuck? Ow, ow fuckity fuck, shit my head is fucking pounding"

"Water. Pills. nightstand" Ava snuggled deeper into her pillow, if there was one thing she hated, it was mornings, she always felt too disoriented after a deep sleep. Dani leaned across the bed, grabbed the glass of water, pills and her phone that was still ringing.

"What do you want?" She growled into the phone, her voice thick with sleep.  Ava rolled on her side, now facing Dani who was talking excessively into the phone. A little too animatedly. How was she this awake after drinking herself into a coma was all Ava could think. Because if Ava had been even half as sloshed as Dani, she probably wouldn't even remember her own name.

"No thanks. No! Gooooodbye!" She shouted, brought the phone away from her ear and threw it across the bed. "I. Really. Hate men"

Ava just raised her eyebrow in question, because really, what was someone supposed to say to that? Ava forced herself to sit in an upright position, her eyes briefly glanced at the clock 9:00 am. She had an hour until Nadia called her down for breakfast, she could probably be ready to leave in half an hour.

"I'll tell you about that later. First I want to know what I'm even doing here? Not that I don't love you and everything but hello? Nadia will definitely ask one too many questions"

"Ugh. It was horrible. I'm such an idiot" Eva mumbled, she could still die from last nights embarrassment. She had sounded like such a pretentious brat, Dani's friends probably hated her now. Just great.

"Oh no, did something happen? Wait, who brought me here? The driver?"

"Are you crazy? I would never hear the end of it if I took the driver. Some of your friends brought you over" Ava shrugged, and brought her legs to the side, her feet sliding into the slippers.

Dani jumped off the bed, and allowed herself a big, long stretch."Oh. Oh so you met the boys then?" Her arm coming behind her head, then the other while she twisted and turned, shaking out her joints.

"Mhmmm"

"You don't sound impressed. Oh no, were they jackasses? God, I'm pretty sure they were, no one is ever nice when they're drunk"

"Not exactly, I'm pretty sure they think I'm the jackass"

Dani walked towards her friend, took her by her shoulders and shook, violently. "Can you just spill the beans, I'm dying here. I really, really have to pee and I can't pee when I'm curious. Hurry, hurry"

So she did. Ava told her the entirety of the phone call, the stupid, stupid things she said about the driver and taxis. She managed to finish the story without jumping off of the balcony, which was a feat in itself. She may have been a little red everywhere, a little warm from embarrassment but it was fine.

"Oh"

"God, tell me it's not as bad as I'm imagining it?" Ava brought both of her hands to cover her face, as she let out a couple of really loud, and deep groans.
