Ryan's POV
"Yeah, it's a play on the words b movie while also being a movie about bees"
The table laughs while Jake beams at his joke. I'm at a gelato cafe with a few of my friends. Everyone is having a good time and I start to think about how funny and cute Jake is, Wait, why do I think he's cute he's my best friend? This has been happening a lot recently and I don't understand why. Whether it be accidentally brushing against him or look down at his lips while talking, I've been having some thoughts I shouldn't be having. I try to just ignore it but it's difficult.
"So lets get into something more interesting. Have any of you guys had sex before?"
My eyes dart towards Jake, wondering what he'll say. We make eye contact for a second and then I look away, blushing. Bella, one of the girls there, begins to voice her opinion.
"No! I'm way too young to even be thinking about things like that. If anyone at this table have done it, it's probably Jake and Ryan and it was definitely with each other"
The girls laugh while I blush even harder. Had I really been so obvious?
"I guess we know what we're doing when we get back to my place, huh?" Jake says, a smile on his lips. I had totally forgotten that he wanted to pull an all-nighter at his place. I awkwardly laugh at the joke, imagining what would happen if we do the deed at his house. Sadly it would never happen. I wonder what's going on in his head right now.
