Chapter 3: The part everyone has been waiting for

Ryan's POV
I awoke to the jarring sound of Jake cooking god-knows-what in his kitchen. I rubbed my eyes sheepishly before propping myself up on my hands letting my head spin, scolding me for getting up so suddenly. I sat up properly with my feet planted on the carpet so I could use my hands to itch my burning eyes. I have never been a morning person and probably never will be. I shook my head which was still, persistently, buzzing a cacophony of deafening noises throughout. I carefully stood up, this time being careful to not make sudden movements, as my body was already upset with me. I groggily walked out of the room to find Jake making pancakes in the kitchen."What are you doing?" I sighed, running my long fingers through my hair "you're making a mess." Jake looked up rapidly, his usual dumbfounded look sprawled across his face. He smiled,"You're awake! I thought I'd just make my sleeping beauty some pancakes~" He drew out the last sentence with an 'innocent' voice, inviting me to scoff at him openly. He pouted at me as if I had hurt him and turned away towards his pancakes. I smiled at how cute and bratty Jake was being before sneaking up behind him and wrapping my arms tightly around his waist.He groaned at me teasingly as I planted kiss after kiss on the back of his head, effortlessly since I was much taller than him. I burried my nose into his neck. Jake turned around in my grasp looking up at me with a warm expression, one that threw my stomach into a backflip everytime I saw it. He stood on his toes and planted a soft kiss on my jawline, since that was the only place he could reach. "Why not my lips?" I teased, knowing very well why not. He couldn't reach them. He stuck his tongue out at me, hitting me softly on my chest where both of his hands were already resting since our bodies were so close."I want to kiss you" he whined, wiggling his body around inside my grasp. I looked down at him, beaming at his cuteness before planting a soft kiss on the top of his head."There you go!" I exclaimed, beggining to back away. Rapidly his hands shot up and grabbed my arms, putting my hands on his hips, "please?" he smiled up at me, causing my heart to instantly melt. I grabbed his waist and picked him up, he yelped in suprise and wrapped his arms, as well as his legs, around my body.I set him down on the counter top, his legs and arms still insisting on trapping my body, but I wasnt complaining. We made eye contact for what felt like forever, a mutual feeling of love and desire mingling between our bodies. I looked down at his lips, not even noticing I was biting mine until much later. He licked his lips and looked up at me 'innocently' before rubbing random patterns on my back with his fingertips. This threw me over the edge, my teasing would have to take a rest, I needed him, and quick. I leaned down and engulfed his lips in mine feeling the familiar warm and wet sensation throughout my mouth. He groaned and instantly responded, kissing me back, matching my desire and passion with his lips. Our lips danced together as I felt his bottom lip become trapped between mine before slowly slipping out and leaving me wanting more and more. My hands wandered from his hips to his thighs in no time, squeezing the soft area and rubbing my palms along them slowly. I bit down on his bottom lip watching as he let out a tentative whine, bringing his body closer to mine. I brought one of my hands up to his face, tracing his jawline with my finger, feeling the muscles move as he kissed me over and over again. I felt his hands snake up my back to my hair, as he burried his fingers into it, tugging on it ever so slightly. My other hand still gripping his thigh with desire and love. Our lips danced together in perfect unison, I could feel his warm breath reaching mine and mingling inside eachothers mouths, only to escape with our gasps for much needed air throughout the chaos. After awhile the kiss became slower, more passionate than hungry. A soft moment we could always share even in the most heated situations.He pulled away slowly, our lips leaving eachother hesitantly and connecting a string of saliva between us. Both of my hands moved to his hips almost in habit as I smiled at him. He smiled back, his lips red and slightly swollen from mine. I giggled bringing one hand up to his face and tracing his features before cupping his chin. "I love you" I whispered, feeling sappy but not really caring much. "Yeah I know" he joked, giving me a cocky grin and sticking his tongue out at me. "Shut up!" I laughed out grinning at him before he responded, "I love you too, idiot." I picked him up and placed his legs back on the tile floor, smiling at him."You might want to get back to those pancakes" Isaid. He yelped, "oh my god my pancakes!!" I couldnt help but laugh as he scrambled to the stove trying desperately to save his long-gone blackened pancakes. "Why didnt you say anything!?" he pouted running in for a hug after turning off the stove. I shrugged, "guess I just wasn't done with you yet" he tensed up and landed a soft fist on my chest looking up at me with a flushed face.I laughed at him wrapping my arms around his waist and pulling him back into my chest. "Lets just go out somewhere" I whispered into his hair as I rested my face on his head. He nodded and squeezed my waist with his small arms, "lets." I giggled, pulling him away only to intertwine our fingers and grab my stuff, dragging him out the door. "Im never making pancakes for you again" he grumbled as we walked down the hallway "thats fair," I said "but I still want to kiss you like that again." He laughed and hit me with his free hand, "Come on idiot, lets go." Just as we were finished cleaning the kitchen, we heard the front door open....
