I woke up on a Friday, my first day of school in Liverpool. I've just moved here from America. My dad's job moved to England and since he couldn't turn it down...

I got dressed in a navy blue skirt and white shirt. I chose white shoes with blue stripes to go with. I did my hair in a 50's style bun and walked downstairs. My mother was making breakfast while my older brother, Nick, was eating.

"How was your sleep in the new house?"

"I slept well."

"Do you have everything for school?"

"It's in my bag."

"Want breakfast? I made eggs and bacon."

"I'm not that hungry. I'll just eat an apple on the way."

"OK. Your dad's at work. If you need any help getting to school, take a left at the end and a right three blocks away."

"Thanks."

I took the directions mom gave me. When I got there, people were looking at me like if I was an alien. I guess because I was new a this school. And where are my manners...

My name is Eleanor Johnson. I'm 16 years old, 5'6 (was the tallest girl in class), blonde, hazel eyes with black glasses, perfect teeth, etc. I'm skinny, like reading books with my record player on, I'm responsible, respectful and a kind person.

I was walking down the hall when a boy ran into me. I suddenly felt the cold hard floor and looked at him. He looked back and laughed at me.

"Sorry."

"Next time you should watch where you're going."

He helped me up and gave me my books. He gave me a crooked smile.

"You're new here. I can tell." We stated walking.

"I am."

"What's ye name?"

"What?" I couldn't understand him at first. He had this scouse accent.

"Name? You don't have a name?"

"Oh!" I started blushing of embarrassment. "Eleanor, and yours?"

"George"

The bell rang and I didn't know where was my first class. I was looking at my schedule. It said English. George took the paper and read it.

"You're in me English class."

"Really?! Can you help me get to the classroom? I don't know where it is..."

"Follow me."

I followed him to a room full of students like us.

"Care to join us, Mr.Harrison?" The teacher said sarcastically.

I sat in an empty chair next to this handsome boy with blonde hair, brown eyes that sparkle in the light, and by knowing has the same height as me.
