CHAPTER TWO - THE TROUBLEMAKER, KIM TAEHYUNG

"ARE THE PARENTS OF THE VICTIM HERE?" Bae Joohyun asked the brownish-haired guy, who's still sleepy.
Joohyun and Taeyong are at the school campus and are heading to the crime scene.
"No, they're at their house." Lee Taeyong answered lazily as he scratched his nape.
"Good," Joohyun answered casually as they arrived at the crime scene.
There are tons of news reporters and police surrounding the crime scene. Gathering every piece of information that they could receive, either real or fake. Joohyun and Taeyong tried to push their butts in the crowd, but the police stopped them.
"I'm sorry but kids are not allowed to go inside." The police officer said smirking.
Joohyun looked at the police from head to toe.
He looks very familiar, she thought. His black dull eyes, his raven hair, his tan skin, they all look familiar but she can't remember who.
Kim Taehyun, Joohyun read the nameplate on the officers front. Thinking that she'll cause a scene, Taeyong grabbed her arm telling her to stop but Joohyun looks like she doesn't give a damn.
"H-hey Joohyun, I think it's not good to start an argument with the police. Let's just go and come back later!" Taeyong whispered to Joohyun and grabbed her arm tighter but still, she managed to remove his grip and face Taeyong.
"Just shut up Taeyong," she said to him and faced the police.
"My name is Bae Joohyun and I'm the student council president of this school," she smiled.
"For your information, we're not kids anymore. And you told us that only kids are not allowed inside the crime scene. We're already adults, so you better scoop over and let us in, Mister." Joohyun grinned and tried to go inside but the police just pushed her.
"Yah! Let us in!" Joohyun shouted as the police grabbed her arms, Taeyong, on the other hand, is grabbing Joohyun and is persuading her to go.
"I told you kids are not allowed!" The police officer yelled.
"Let me go!" Joohyun shouted. The eyes of the news reporters and police that was on the crime scene were already looking at Joohyun and the police.
"Let her go." A deep voice from behind said. Everyone turned to see who talked.
"Kim Taehyung?" Joohyun said in shock.
Kim Taehyung. The school's troublemaker. Or she thought so.
Joohyun haven't met him personally since he wasn't always around school and if he is, he doesn't really talk to anyone. But she has heard things about him that aren't good. Like how he's probably a gang member that's why he's always not around. But, rumors are rumors, and it's not always accurate.
"Son?" Kim Taehyun said shockingly, his grip loosened and Joohyun took her hand away.
"I'm not your son, remember? You left me and mom a long time ago," Taehyung said grabbing Joohyun's hand, leaving her shocked.
"Let's go," Taehyung said pulling Joohyun away from the crime scene.
"Wait, what?" Joohyun said shockingly, as she glared at Taeyong who was chuckling at the back mouthing her 'Go'.
They stopped when there was no one. Joohyun took her hand from Taehyung's tight grip.
"Why did do that? Huh? And why did you drag me here like we're friends or something? We haven't even spoken to each other before!" She yelled angrily.
"We are now?" He chuckled. Joohyun was about to turn away when he spoke.
He giggled and smiled, "Woah, chill. I brought you here because I have to tell you something."
"And what is it?" she said crossing arms.
"I like you!" He screamed at her face leaving her surprised.
"You like me?" She laughed.
"You pulled me from that bastard looking police telling me that you like me?" She chuckled, Taehyung silenced.
"What the hell?" She laughed again but stopped when it became awkward already.
"Well, I wasn't joking when I told you that I like you." He softly spoke.
"I'm sorry but I don't like you. We literally just started talking a few minutes ago. You can't just possibly like me that easy!"
"I know. But that doesn't stop me from liking you. How about we start knowing each other? We'll start tomorrow." He said and left leaving Joohyun hanging.
"There you are!" Taeyong yelled as he runs towards Joohyun and hugged her.
She broke from the hug fastly, as she cringed at the skinship.
"Did he hurt you? Are you okay? What happened?" Taeyong rapped as he checked on Joohyun's temperature.
"Nothing happened," she said.
"Then what did you do? Don't tell me- What Joohyun?! You're still young! You can't be pregnant!" Taeyong shouted making Joohyun shut his mouth.
"What are you talking about, you pervert! He confessed to me!" She said punching Taeyong's arm.
"Confessed? As in he likes you?" Taeyong laughed, but stopped when Joohyun glared at him, "Then what did you say?"
"That I don't like him? What are you expecting me to say? That I like him too? We barely even know each other!"
"Watch how that changes in a couple of weeks!" Taeyong grinned widely making Joohyun hit him as he walked away.
Kim Taehyung, you're really something else.
