CHAPTER NINE - SCHOOL'S ANNIVERSARY

"Hey Joohyun, can I take this call?" Taehyung asked holding his ringing phone.
Joohyun smiled, "Yeah, sure." And went back to work.
The d-day has come and it is already the school's anniversary.
The school is decorated with classy designs. The students roamed the whole campus taking pictures and playing with the booths. Joohyun was right, everybody loved the theme.
"What-" Taehyung wasn't able to finish what he says when Jennie cut him off.
"You're going to thank me later, Oppa!" Jennie's sweet voice called.
Taehyung sighed, "And what did you do this time?"
"I signed you and unnie Joohyun to the wedding booth!" Jennie shrieked enough for Taehyung's ears to bleed.
"What?!" Taehyung shouted back.
"What is that Taehyung-ah?" Joohyun at the back asked.
"N-nothing."
"Oh! You're together?! Oh my god oppa! You and unnie are still young! I don't want to be your kids' godmother at this age!" Jennie overreacted.
"What on earth are you talking about Jennie?! We're not doing it!"
"Oops." Jennie laughed awkwardly while scratching her nape.
"How I wish you're like this in reality, Jen. I missed your bubbly side. Why do you have to act cold in front of everybody?" Taehyung asked and there was silence on the other line.
A minute passed and Taehyung heard Jennie sniffing, which means she's crying.
"To show everyone that I'm not weak? Maybe?" She laughed hiding her tears. "Sometimes you have to hide your true self in order to be accepted by everyone."
"Hey, Jen. I'm sorry if I brought this topic again. But cheer up! Lee Taeyong doesn't want to see you cry!" Taehyung chuckled making Jennie's eyes widen.
