CHAPTER TEN - THE KISS

[ JULY 08, 2019 ]

"Wow! You look good in that suit Oppa!" Jennie squealed as Taehyung wore his black tux.

Jennie and Taehyung are inside the dressing room. Jennie, dressed in her pink off-shoulder dress, is picking out outfits for Joohyun's bridegroom, Taehyung.

"Why did you have to do this, Jennie? You know, I could just simply tell her that I like her!" He shouted.

"Tsk. Your first confession ever should be grand Oppa! You're already a young adult yet you still haven't confessed to your lifetime crush! Thus this wedding of yours is really special! It will look like a real wedding!"

"And don't you dare tell me that you confessed to her last month! Everyone knows that it's fake and you just have to do it to take her away from dad, right?" she reassured and Taehyung nodded, surrendered.

"If I were you, I am going to marry my crush and confess to her instead of confessing to her only!"

"If you're not going to marry her, then call that Lee Taeyong and we're getting married! You wouldn't want your little sister to be married first then you, right?" Jennie said shooing Taehyung away from the dressing room.

"Now go there and marry that girl!" Jennie said, cheering Taehyung as he stepped out of the dressing room.

Taehyung could only just shake his head.

The wedding started and the Jennie wasn't joking.

It looked like a real wedding. First, the officiant walked down the aisle. Then, the principal accompanied by ms. Hani walked next.

Next, the asst. the principal walked with Mr. Choi. Then followed by the bridegroom, Taehyung.

After Taehyung, bridesmaids and groomsmen walked next.

Next, the maid of honor and best man walked together. Jennie as the maid of honor and Taeyong as the best man.

Jennie and Taeyong were smiling widely as they walked. Their hands connecting with each other.

Little flower girls dressed in cute pink dresses are walking down the aisle while throwing rose petals.

Then, the ring bearer went next. He was Joohyun's nephew named Gunho.

Then the most awaited part came, the bride.

Joohyun walked slowly down the aisle wearing a white mermaid dress Jennie secretly bought.

Everyone was in awe as they watched Joohyun walk.

She's too beautiful to exist, Taehyung thought smiling.

When Joohyun arrived at the center aisle, Taehyung can't stop staring at her.

"Hey, stop that. Staring is rude, you know." She chuckled then and he smiled.

"We're all gathered here today to celebrate the love between Joohyun and Taehyung." The officiant said.

"By the power vested in me I pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." The officiant said and Taehyung looked at Joohyun.

He leaned in and gave her a kiss. Everyone squealed. And Joohyun blushed to their reaction.

After their kiss, Joohyun touched her lips. She could still feel how Taehyung's soft lips touched hers.

For her, it was magical, especially when it was given by her crush.

Then she looked at his eyes and saw the horror.

Taehyung smiled at her and took the microphone from the officiant.

"To everyone who came here, thank you. Even though I know that my sister just pushed you to come here. And I have a confession to make," He looked at Joohyun and saw her standing there, with teary eyes.

Taehyung erased the thought of something bad and smiled at her and faced the audience.

"I have been waiting for this moment my whole life, to be with someone I love. And as you can see this girl,"

"This petite girl, Bae Joohyun. Oh God, I love her." He said and smiled widely.

Everybody was shocked by his indirect confession. He took Joohyun's hand and said.

"I-I love-" He was cut off when Joohyun spoke.

"S-stop. Taehyung stop!" She cried and the tears came streaming down her face.

Everybody was shocked by her sudden actions.

"What's wrong, Joohyun?" Taehyung worriedly asked.

"This is wrong Taehyung, I'm sorry!" Then she ran leaving Taehyung, alone.

"Joohyun!" He was ready to go after her when Jennie stopped him.

"Let her, Oppa." She said sadly.

Taeyong then ran to Joohyun leaving everyone.

Taehyung stood there, emotionless.

What happened? He thought.

Then suddenly, he felt his head spinning. He held Jennie's arm while his other hand is holding his head.

"What's wrong, Oppa? Oppa!"

Then there was nothing, but pitch black.

Yey! I'm very happy today because we don't have any classes tomorrow!
