"Ggukie, can I come in?" Namjoon had asked the same sentence every day since he was back from his trip and Jeongguk always wanted to be alone. The future King missed Taehyung, didn't know what he should do.

"I wanna be alone Hyung, I'm sorry." He answered as expected but this time the older didn't go away.

Namjoon decided to suggest inviting him. "Let's invite your friend, do you have his phone number?" He didn't enter the room, but as soon as he had finished the sentence, the door opened and Jeongguk was standing there, wearing his pyjama.

"He didn't give me his number, I'm not sure if he even has a phone." Jeongguk scratched the back of his neck.

"Oh I see. Is there another way to contact him?" Namjoon didn't give up yet.

Jeongguk thought for a moment and then he remembered Hoseok. "Hyung, I'll be back soon." He run out of the castle, arriving shortly after the beach, where he hoped to see Hoseok.

There were two people playing around and when he came closer he immediately recognised Taehyung. A big smile appeared on his face and he ran towards them. "Tae!"

Called person turned around, eyes wide. "Ggukie?"

As soon as Jeongguk was close enough, they hugged each other as if they haven't seen one another for years. Hoseok laughed, greeting the prince with a bow.

"Hey, nice to see you again, I hope this time we can be friends." He stretched his hand out for Jeongguk to shake it.

"Friends." They smiled.

"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked, making Jeongguk scoff.

"Why, do you not want me to be here? Fine, I can go." He faked being mad but Taehyung saw through it.

"Missed me?" He smirked, was surprised when the other nodded.

"Like hell! Missed me too?"

Hoseok answered instead of Taehyung. "He waited every day in hope you'd show up, my wife sees me less than Taehyung does."

"Hyung! Why would you tell him that?" The merman blushed, covering his face with his palms.

"I'm glad he did, I almost thought you didn't like me. You do like me, right?" Jeongguk asked with a hopeful voice.

"Of course I do." Taehyung wanted to show him how much and kissed Jeongguk unexpected.

"Eww, can't you wait until you're alone?" Hoseok rolled his eyes playfully and they stopped.

It wasn't awkward but there was something Jeongguk wanted to ask him, hoping that the other would say yes. "Tae, I want you to come to my wedding. I know that you don't-"

"I want! I'll come to your wedding Ggukie." Taehyung interrupted him with a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.

"What about me?" Hoseok pouted and the blue haired boy laughed. "You'll be my plus one, of course"

"No, I wanna go with my wife, you can go with Jin." They wanted Seokjin and Namjoon to finally meet. It was long overdue in his opinion.

"Okay, I'm sure he would like that." Taehyung couldn't wait to play Cupid.

"Then it's settled, I'll put your names on the list." Jeongguk, Hoseok and Taehyung talked until late at night about these and that.

Only two days to go till the wedding and Jeongguk became nervous. Would he be able to fall in love with his wife? He just couldn't forget about Taehyung, he was perfect and  all he wanted to be, maybe not exactly a merman but once with the ocean.
