While taking a shower in the morning, Taehyung was the first to talk about the night. "It was incredible, you're incredible Gguk. I still can't believe that you're mine and only mine now."

Jeongguk chuckled at how cute his husband is. Of course he was happy too and afraid of waking up to the realization that everything was just a dream, but the feeling in his legs and lower body told him otherwise. He wasn't dreaming, it was real. Taehyung was real and Taehyung being a merman was real too.

"I'm all yours, I'll never leave your side ever." They kissed again, went to the bed to cuddle. When Jeongguk's head rested on Taehyung's chest, he thought of the ocean. Where would they live? As a merman Taehyung needed the water but as much as Jeongguk loved the sea, he couldn't move to the Laguna, he was the future King and had to stay here.

"What are you thinking about, hmm?" Taehyung noticed how silent Jeongguk suddenly became, checked if he was sleeping, wanted to know what was on his mind.

"About our future, you're a merman and I'm the crown prince. Tae, where are we going to live? Will we have to part every night?"

"I don't have to be in the water when I sleep, I will be in the ocean for a few hours in the morning or afternoon and then I'll stay with you again. I have legs for a reason." Taehyung wanted to tease the other. "It's to please you and I'll do it every day."

"Fuck, I'm still sore but I want you now, deep ins-" Jeongguk got interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Déjà-vu." Taehyung laughed.

"Give us five minutes!" Jeongguk yelled as they got dressed.

When he opened the door, his brother stood there with a red face. "What do you want Hyung?"

"Uh, do you maybe have a condom?" He whispered shyly, blushed even more. Namjoon was embarrassed to ask his baby brother for a rubber, but he never needed one before and how should he know that he'd find his - hopefully - future husband at Jeongguk's wedding. Yes he already liked him that much after a few hours but he was sure that Seokjin was his soulmate and he couldn't let him go.

"Are you serious, who's the unlucky person?" Jeongguk whisper-shouted and Namjoon gasped.

"Could you be less loud, what if someone hears it?" He bit his lower lip, then continued. "It's Seokjin, he's waiting in my room and for your information, he's lucky, as well as I am."

"Jin, as in Taehyung's brother? Don't hurt him Hyung, he shouldn't be just an one-night-stand." Jeongguk looked at him serious.

"He isn't Gguk, I really like him- a lot."

"You only know him for what, six hours?" Jeongguk knew Seokjin a bit and even if Namjoon was his brother, he cared about him too.

"Gguk, don't be a hypocrite now, you also knew Tae for not even a day and fell for him in an instant." It was a matter-of-fact and Jeongguk gulped because he was right.

Who was he to scold him when he himself wasn't any different? They didn't have sex on the first day but if there would have been an opportunity, they would have used it for sure.

"Okay but I'm truly sorry, I don't have one left. We uh, we did it without. He's healthy, I'm healthy, he can't get pregnant- Wait, he can't, can he?" Jeongguk didn't know. Taehyung is a merman, he doesn't know shit about mermen. What if- He shook his head, Taehyung would have told him, right?

"I don't know? You should ask him, silly." Namjoon rolled his eyes but at the same time he made a mental note to ask his lover later too, just to make sure.

Namjoon went back to him without any contraception, hoped that it wouldn't change anything, he could wait of course but he really wanted him tonight.

Jeongguk on the other hand wasn't horny anymore after he had talked to his brother. He sat down next to Taehyung and looked at him. "You can't get pregnant, am I right? I mean I wouldn't mind, we are married and I want kids, it's just that I don't know anything about your kind." Did it sound bad? 'Your kind'?

"Haha Gguk, don't worry, I can't. I don't have an uterus." Taehyung laughed slightly because he found it adorable.

"I'm like you when I'm outside the water." He wanted to make sure he understood it.

"Okay, well, I think we can adopt a child then." He smiled, hoped Taehyung would want kids too, he needed a crown prince or princess afterall.

"I'd love that, imagine us with a baby, we will be a real family." Taehyung was dreaming about cute little smiles, small hands that would hold his and Jeongguk's while walking around. He was finally happy.

They talked about their dreams and future until they fell asleep again.

The first few days were like vacation but soon they started to get busy with introducing Taehyung to their kingdom. Both of their dads met regularly and after two weeks, Namjoon and Seokjin became official boyfriends.

It took them two years till they adopted an one year old girl and another year for a three year old boy. Namjoon and Seokjin took their sweet time to get married, they were happy and a marriage wouldn't change anything, but since Seokjin was a crown prince too they eventually had to.
