THERE IS A BEAST that lives in the abandoned sears across the cemetery.
sears got shut down a few months ago. he heard it was because the stars started leaking through the vents and it started to kill people. (it came from the cemeteries, they say. but they didn't rise from the ground. it was the weeping angels that summoned them).
he also heard someone said it wasn't stars, but it was something that ate all the stars and that's the reason why the city is so barren and godless. it made more sense than to have what caused the desolation of the city seep from the vents and melt the floor as if it was acid.
something ate the stars! who will eat the moon?
the story traveled that there is something eating the stars and it was not heavenly. he could only assume that it came from the depths of where fire and brimstone collide. where eternal damnation manifests within the last breaths of the people who step over city line. where you meet your demise and it isn't beautiful like how some describe it to be.
