Yuna could only stare at the two girls in front of her. The older one, Kyta, smiled and waved, a little disjointed. "Yuna, right?"
Yuna nodded slowly. Jae moved next to the little red head somewhat protectively. "How do you know Yuna?"The two girls looked at the room full of boys staring at them, some curious, some just plain old glaring. Yuna noticed the tense atmosphere and swallowed. She placed a gentle hand on Jae's arm. "It's okay. I met them earlier today. We're friends." She smiled at the two girls who smiled back rather hesitantly, their eyes flitting from the smiling girl to the army of boys who looked about ready to tackle them to the ground if they tried anything.
"Yeah." Kyta agreed quietly. "We're friends."Jae lifted his chin slightly, a quizzical look on his face. "One second girls" he smiled quickly before pulling Yuna and the boys into a corner.
"Okay. Let's get one thing straight." Jae looked at Yuna. "You don't really know those girls do you. You're not friends, are you?"
Yuna shook her head. "No, but I have met them before. They seem nice.""They're clearly looking for somewhere to stay." Jin whispered.
"How can we trust them?" Seo-Jun hissed. Yuna rolled her eyes. "God, stop being so dramatic. It's pouring it down out there. If we send them back out who knows what'll happen. I say we let them stay."The boys looked at Jae. Slowly, he began to nod. "Okay."
They turned back to the girls who were clutching hands and Jae smiled at them. "Take a seat girls. I'm Jae. Min-Jae. Welcome to the Loft."There was something odd about the two girls, Jin thought, as he side eyed them from his place on the couch. Their laughs seemed forced and their smiles seemed fake and didn't quite reach their eyes. It wasn't that he didn't trust them, they just seemed to have a deeper story than the one they had told them, and Jin wanted to know why and what it was.
Kyta and Mi-Cha had come over from Thailand 3 years ago with their parents as their parents had jobs over in Busan. When questioned on why they were here and not with their parents, Kyta explained that their parents were on a business trip and they had run away from their cruel Aunty and Jae had then offered for the girls to stay here, of which they accepted. Yuna sat down next to Mi-Cha, who, upon her arrival, smiled. Yuna smiled back.
"Hey."
"Hey." Mi-Cha's tone was light and sweet. Yuna grinned. "You're the only person who hasn't had a match on Mario Kart yet."
Mi-Cha giggled. "You'll beat me!"Yuna smirked. "Maybe. Maybe not. Come On!"
At this, Mi-Cha bit her lip. "I've...I've never played Mario Kart before.""What?!"
Mi-Cha beat Yuna.
The skinny blonde girl laughed as the other girl writhed on the sofa whining endlessly."I can't believe you beat me! You've never even played the damn game before!"
Mi-Cha just couldn't control her laughter as the girl slid, dejected off of the sofa and lay on her back facing the ceiling, a look of heartbreak on her face.
"I can't believe I was beaten.''
"Does God even exist?"
"Does life even matter?"
Her endless moaning attracted the concerned figure of Kim Jin-Soo who scoffed at his little friend's dramatic behaviour. He turned to the giggling girl on the sofa. "Be warned." He told her. "She'll come back stronger. You've got no hope."
Micha scoffed. "She can try"
Jin huffed a laugh. "Trust me, she will." He hopped onto the sofa next to her. "Fancy a movie?"
Mi-Cha nodded. "Sure"Jin leaned down to face the depressed little figure of Yuna. "Oi drama queen! Fancy a movie?"
"Will it cure my aching heart?" Yuna cried. The two on the sofa laughed. Jin picked Yuna up and pulled her onto his lap. "Just shut up and watch the film."Yuna pouted but soon regained her bubbly personality as she realised it was her favourite film. Soon, more people had joined and were getting very involved. Whether it was swooning over the female lead or the male lead, or throwing death threats at the antagonist, there was always something that someone had to say. A little while into the film, Jun beckoned to Yuna for him to follow her, obediently, Yuna got off of Jin's lap, much to his annoyance and followed Jun outside.
It had stopped raining now, and a strong smell of wet tarmac hit Yuna as soon as she stepped outside.
"What do you need?" Yuna asked him.
"Well, I've been thinking, the crime happened in Seoul, right?"
Yuna nodded.Jun licked his lips and carried on. "I think to get solid evidence, I think we need to go to Seoul."
Yuna's eyes widened. "You're right. I guess."
Jun grimaced. "You don't wanna go, do you?"
Yuna chewed the inside of her cheek. "Honestly, no. But it's the best thing to do. And my priority is getting my sister out of jail."
Jun looked past Yuna at the booming warehouse. "And, of course, we won't be going alone."Yuna smirked. "Obviously."
This sucked. I'm sorry. I'm trying but I literally have no time anymore yikes. Updates might be a bit slow I'm sorry. Thankyou for being so patient.
