Yuna and Jun got a bus to the prison to question Min Hana.
"Relation to Min Hana?" The guard asked. Yuna straightened her back and broadened her shoulders. "Sister and cousin."
The guard nodded and waved them through. Jun bit his lip, hopes the guard wouldn't spot the lie and followed Yuna down the long, dark corridors until they reached a room. Yuna gestured for him to sit down, and he almost did a double take when he saw the girl sat behind the glass. She was beautiful. She had big, brown eyes, a thin, lean face with plump lips formed into a little rosebud pout. She cocked her head at the boy stating wide eyed at her. "Who's this?" She asked her sister. Yuna glanced at Min-Jun. "This is Min-Jun. He's a friend. We're here to ask you some questions."
Hana raised her eyebrows. "Go ahead."
Jun took the phone from Yuna. "Hana, I'm going to need you to tell me everything you remember about July 14th 2014."
Juwon and Seo-Jun hailed a taxi that took them straight to the building with a name that Seo-Jun had already forgotten and they made their way in, Seo-Jun in the lead. He nodded curtly and held up his box of 'tools' to the Secretary and flashed a winning smile and she waved them through, a rosey shade tinting her cheeks. Juwon tried to ignore the stirring feeling of jealously as he watched his bestfriend wink at the pretty Secretary as the walked through the barriers. "How do you do that?" He asked the taller male. Seo-Jun cocked his head. "Do what?"
"Get anything you want. Like, you just walked through those barriers like nothing was wrong."
Seo-Jun chuckled. "Juwon, if you act like you know what you're doing, you can do anything."
Juwon grinned. "So, what you're saying is that you have no idea what we're doing?"
Seo-Jun laughed and shook his head. "Aish, I was trying to inspire you and of course, you twist my words. What did I expect?"
Juwon smiled and joined in on the laughter, enjoying the moment, may it be short. Juwon plucked a trip that Yuna had given him from his back pocket and began to pick the lock to the security room.
"Hey! You! what do you think you're doing?"
Both boys turning around, Seo-Jun seemingly protecting his little best friend. Juwon put a reassuring hand on the older's arm. "I got his" he told him. Juwon sidled up to the handsome security guard. "Hey, I'm so sorry, I'm such an idiot, I left my keys at home so I decided I'd try to pick the lock. Stupid, I know but..." Juwon trailed off and batted his eyelashes, bit his lip and looked up at the security guard. The man swallowed, glancing at the hand on his arm. "It's okay, I'll let you in, no problem." He flashed Juwon a smile, barely even glanced at an unimpressed Seo-Jun and let the boys into the room. He scratched his head. "I, uh, I can help you get set up if you like."
Behind him, Juwon pulled out a wire for the computer, easily fixable, but enough for it to look like there was a problem. He smiled sweetly. "Yes, that'd be great thanks."
Seo-Jun slumped in his seat, glaring at the man, who he now knew was called Mark and moved over to Korea from America, Los Angeles, to be precise, 20 years old, flirt unashamedly with Juwon, who flirted back, equally unashamed. Seo-Jun didn't know why, but every time he heard Juwon's light, musical laugh, he felt anger bubbling up in his stomach. And he had had enough. "Look, Juwon, are we gonna get anything done or are you gonna flirt all night?" He growled. The two instantly shut up. Mark chewed the inside of his cheek. "I'll uh, leave you to it then." And he flashed one last smile at the blushing Juwon and left the room. As soon as the door was closed, Juwon dramatically flopped into a chair. "Isn't he just dreamy?"
Seo-Jun snorted. "Who even uses that word anymore."
Juwon ignored him. "He's so broad and handsome and mysterious but, like a puppy at the same time. Ugh! Seo-Jun. I think I'm in love."
