valentine's day 2019 - a day full of love for you and reece bibby. you had decided to stay in, establishing that you were very much more netflix and pizza people than posh night out ones, though you still love showing him off wherever you can.
an abandoned box of pizza sat on the coffee table while you and reece cuddled together on the sofa. you were wearing one of his shirts and some leggings, his hand comfortably resting on your hip as he pulled you in sideways. his other hand linked with yours, residing on your thigh. your we're on the third high school musical movie of the evening, having happily sung to all the songs together.
you watched in delight as troy invited gabriella onto the roof of the school, as they picked out prom colours and asked each other out.
soon the intro to your favourite song was playing - can i have this dance.
"shall we?" reece muttered from beside you, standing up and holding out his hand.
"i mean, it would be rude not to," you giggled, taking his hand and allowing him to guide your hands around his neck. you stood on his feet, allowing him to gently spin the two of you round in a magical moment of obsession for each other. your digits drifted to the nape of his neck, carefully twiddling with the ends of his hair, smiling as you lay your head on his shoulder.
his cheek was pressed against yours, and you could feel the dimples on his face as he contentedly sighed. his fingers held against the small of your back, pushing you into him to feel closer to you.
the song came to an end and you pulled away from the dance, stepping off of his feet and standing back on the ground. you were still pressed to him and you hands were lingering on his shoulders, his green eyes piercing into yours.
he kissed you, softly at first, tasting of cherry and chocolate. it didn't take long for him to gently cup your face and push his plump lips onto yours, pouring passion into you on the symbolic day.
