Shadow Alchemist

Chapter 2

Rina’s P.O.V

After many long hours of travel, I made it to Tokyo. I was generally astonished by the amounts of tech I saw. Just looking at it made my heart jump. I took a few deep breaths and started walking looking for the street name on the piece of paper Ed gave me. I lugged my bag over my shoulder and hear a few shouts of excitement. I turned to see a giant creature being beaten up but a tree guy. I quickly ran up trying to see only to bump into a short boy with green hair.  

“I’m so so so sorry.” I apologized with a smile.

“Ha it’s ok,” He said with an obvious blush “I was just going to see the fight, man heros are amazing!” he gushed I’m sure he didn’t even realize but he kept rambling about how great they are. ‘So cute’ I smiled at my thought. I sat there and watched with him for a while and saw a giant woman go up to him and knock him out before the tree guy could do so.

“That was so cool!” I shouted on accident. The little green boy looked at me shocked that I would say that. Then I remembered that I had to find my apartment. Sighing I looked at the paper once more. I was generally confused. How would I find it in a place this big?

“Hey um?” I patted the guy on his shoulder, “Do you by any chance know where this is?” I handed him the paper and his face lit up bright red while accepting the paper.

“Y-Ya I do it’s right next door to me.” He looked shocked. I noticed his school outfit.

“Could you by any chance show me where it is? After your classes that is.” He nodded rapidly. He told me to meet him at his school in his classroom after school. Which I didn’t mind one bit.

“Oh, and my name is Midoriya Izuku you can call me Izuku if you want.” I smiled and gave a nod.

“My name I Rina Rockbell, you can call me Rina or Ri your choice.” I smiled once more. He looked down at him phone noticing the time.

“Sorry Rina I wish I could talk more but I’m going to be late see ya later!” he waved and ran the opposite direction. I guess I better find some food fast my stomach is killing me from the travel. I decided on a small cafe to get some curry. Not as good as Nanas’ stew but still very tasty. While waiting I read through some of Papas’ books absorbing every detail. Sadly the time was still going very slow. So I decided to try to work on my quirk by going into an ally. There were some of the best shadows. I started by putting my hand out to make my shadow connect to the others. I watched as I made them dance then I attempted to make it into a physical object. I thought hard concentrating on making it a spear. I felt something heavy in my hand and looked down to see what I had imagined.

I had a silent celebration and threw into a trash can. It made a nice sized hole before disappearing. I then allowed my body to be consumed by the shadows so I could disappear for a small amount of time. I slumped to the side of the wall and grabbed my bag pulling it into the shadows with me only to take a nap.

I woke up after a couple of hours which did indeed surprise me. I looked around for a clock and once I saw the time I realized the Izuku would be getting out soon so I made my way to the school. I walked in to see that it was pretty much empty now. I looked for the room that he told me to go to only to see someone picking on him.

“Go take a swan dive off the roof!” was all I heard and I ran in as pissed as big sis when Ed gets hurt. I walked up to the boy and hit him as hard as I could upside the head, with my automail arm might I add.

“If you think you can talk to people like that in life you have another thing coming for you! You practically just told Izuku to kill himself and for what reason huh?” I yelled closing my eyes to hide my rage. All I heard was silence. No one would be quiet after that they would yell back or apologize. I opened my eyes to see red ones glaring at me.
