Rina’s P.O.V
Why was he here at this time? Why did he have cookies? COOKIES! How did he know where I lived?
“Um what are you doing here Sukie?”
“My old hag told me to bring these cookies to your house.” He stated giving me a ‘I don’t care’ look. My eyes lit up when I saw that they were pumpkin cookies! I was practically drooling and the tub wasn’t even opened yet. Then a sudden chill hit my arm and I felt a sharp pain in my stumps...WHY DOES MOTHER NATURE HATE ME?! I winced and he noticed.
“What’s with you?”
“It’s gonna rain soon,” I stated matter of factly “You might want to come inside.” I say while pulling the cookies out of his arms.
“And how do you know that?”
“I’m psychic duh.” He walked into my apartment pulling his shoes off noticing what was on the T.V.
“So you like anime now?”
“Is that what this is called? It’s just really good! I love the story line!” I purred. I hit pause on my remote opening the tub putting at least three cookies in my mouth at once. DON’T JUDGE THEY ARE SMALL! Then I heard the raindrops start to hit my ceiling. I sigh happy that our relationship was mending, faster than expected to. He sat next to me and we sat in silence for a few minutes.
“Ri,” WHAT HE HASN’T CALLED ME RI IN FOREVER!
“Hm?” I hummed to keep my excitement in.
“Will you ever tell me what happened?” He questioned uneasy, he must’ve thought I would react that way again. I gently grazed my hand over my locket while thinking, I should just tell him now to get it out of the way. My hand went to where my arm and automail connected I rubbed the aching area.
“I was weak, and stupid,” I said, silence remained it’s like he knew I was going to tell him, “Ever heard of human transmutation?” I questioned him.
“I think so I don’t really know what it is though.” He admitted seeming to be most relaxed.
“Well I did it,” I sighed moving my arm joint “It’s alchemy's biggest taboo.” He tilted his head.
“How is it a taboo?”
“It’s you technically playing god...I..I,” I threw my head back and covered my eyes with my forearm “I tried to bring Papa back to life and this is all I have to show for it.” I allowed a few tears to escape my eyes refusing to feel sorry for myself. I could see him stiffen in the corner of my eye.I put my head down and started to look at my legs.
“That’s why you refused to be around me?” I nodded “Tch, stupid.” I couldn’t tell if he was calling me stupid for trying to bring Papa back or for pushing him away.
“What?” I cautiously looked at him.
“It’s stupid that you thought I would leave you for pretty much loosing your body.” I smiled and chuckled.
“Ya I guess it is.” I heard his phone ringing. He looked at it and quickly answered. I could hear Mitsuki on the other side screaming.
“KATSUKI BAKUGOU WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? IT’S RAINING OUTSIDE!” he groaned and laid back on my couch.
“I’m at Rinas still, it started raining when I got here.”
“AWWWW So cute!” I heard slightly and he got very red.
“SHUT UP OLD HAD!” He screamed and hung up. I couldn’t help but laugh at his reaction. He glared at me.
“I agree with your mom it is kinda cute.” I teased and he blew a fuse.
