Chapter 3

Rina’s P.O.V

It’s been a few months since the whole Sukie incident with the sludge villain. In those few months, I got new things for the house to make it cozier. I also decided on getting a laptop and a phone. Where did all this money come from you may ask? Well, Ed decided since I’m going to be more focused on my studies he would send me some money each month and it was more than I truly needed.

Today though was the day of the entrance exam. I decided on walking there with Izuku today. I got out of bed and showered. I threw my hair into a high pony so it would be out of my face. Then I decided on wearing some black leggings, a black sports bra and then threw on a random hoodie, adding to that a pair of tennis shoes and black gloves. I grabbed my little backpack with a few things inside.

I exited my house and waited for Izuku outside of his door. In my opinion, he has been through some weird exercises lately. I would see him leave early in the morning and come back late in the day covered in garbage.

“Hey, Rina!” He exclaimed upon seeing me. I smiled brightly.

“Sup Izuku!” We both practically ran to UA. Once the entrance was in view I ran ahead just excited to see the inside. When I looked behind me Izuku was nowhere in sight. He must’ve decided to walk when I ran ahead. So I decided to wait for him by the doors. When I saw a figure approach me I thought it had to be him so I put my head up and smiled. Only to realize that it was Sukie. I quickly put my head down avoiding eye contact. At first, I thought he would just walk past me but I was mistaken. Instead, he was right in front of me. His eyes burned with rage and hurt.

“H-hi Katsuki.” I decided to call him by his real name so he wouldn’t get too angry with me.

“Why?” was all he said.

“Why what?” I questioned right back at him. He shook his head and walked past me into the building. What the hell just happened? I tried shaking it off and also headed into the building. Izuku ran in after me.

“Rina! Sorry that I was so slow, I fell and then this girl stopped me from falling,” he paused noticing my confused state “Hey, are you ok?”

“Ya, just a weird encounter is all.” he nodded and we found a place to sit. Of course, we had to sit Sukie. I hardly listened to what was being said unless it was super important. Then some blue haired kid raised his hand to call out poor Izuku on his cute rambling. So I also decided to raise my hand. I was obviously called on.

“This isn’t a question more of a statement,” I cleared my throat and gave my darkest glare to the kid “I suggest you worry about the actual exam than the ramblings of a poor kid who got excited.” I smiled brightly and sat back down. Izuku thanked me for once again standing up for him.

*Time Skip To After The Exam*

Things for me went smoothly. I didn’t do anything too special. Izuku managed to break some bones though. Lucky for us we have Recovery Girl, sadly she had to kiss him to heal him in front of everyone! I pray for his little ego, there isn’t much of it to begin with. I decided on walking to the infirmary to get him so we could walk home together. While I was walking I ran into my favorite blonde...again. He wasn’t to happy about it.

“Watch it.” He growled. I put my head down looking at the ground.

“S...Sorry, Sukie.” Why do I feel so god damn guilty when I’m around him?

“DON’T call me that ever again!” He yelled causing me to jump.

“I’m sorry Katsuki… I’ll just go.” I pushed past him. I’m so stupid for leaving him in the dark for so long. Before I could make it very far away from him he grabbed my wrist.
