"Stop squirming, I'm trying to pin." Marinette command yet Adrien kept shifting his weight. He had been at the workshop since five in the morning and was trying to come up with an excuse to leave and fight some sort of crime whether it be a simple purse snatcher or a bank robbery.

Marinette's phone rang on the table which had pattern and designs laid across it. Adrien quickly grabbed the phone and answered. He didn't bother to look who it was. Marinette glared him momentarily then continued pinning.

"Girl, your not going to believe whose coming to town."

Adrien knew exactly who was on the other line and she continued talking without a reply.

"It's Luka! I know you're like doing some heavy flirting with Adrien but Luka practically is Emma's father biological or not. You two raised Emma together. I know you didn't want to date while Emma was growing up since you wanted to spend all your spare time with her. You didn't want her to feel neglected and I respect that but as your best friend, show up to his concert down by the pier it's at eight. He is excepting you." She said before hanging up.

"Who was it?" Marinette asked hoping it wasn't Emma's school or a emergency. Adrien thought about how much Marinette must of trusted him since she allowed him to answer her phone.

"Alya." He replied laying her phone on the table.

"What did she have to say?" Marinette asked knowing that Alya was up to something mischievous if she called Marinette during work hours.

Adrien wanted to reply but his mouth ran dry. Was he actually so selfish as to prevent Marinette from going to the concert? He was developing romantic feelings towards Marinette the same ones he had for Ladybug. He wasn't going to wait like he did Ladybug because sometimes there's no second chances.

"Just that apparently you've been doing some heavy flirting with me," he smirked causing Marinette to intentionally poke him with a needle.

"I have not." She said trying to finish hemming the pants.

"So, did I miss the part where you kissed me yesterday?" He teased causing Marinette to blush about the same shade of pink as her measuring tape.

"I... no.... kiss... you?" She stuttered as she accidentally poked herself with a needle. Cursing herself underneath her breath since the pants she was hemming were white and blood would definitely show.
