~PERSONALITY~ Annabelle Dixon loves all of the arts, save for drawing which she can't do to save her life. This passion she has extends to everything she does, exuding elegance and poise in all she does.
Singing is her first love. Annie first found this acclimation when she was a small child. Her mother had an angelic voice and used to sing her lullabies every night that still echo in her head when it's quite. When she passed away, Annabelle carried on this tradition by singing her self to sleep, though most are unaware she can sing. She likes to keep this gift to herself as she sees it as a secret between her and her deceased mother, her last private aspect of her life.
On a more outward scale, dancing is Annie's passion. She has been doing it since she was a young age in all different varieties. She usually participates in ballet as her step mother forces her to, but she prefers more modern dancing.
Annie is kind to everyone but isn't very social as she has to focus all of her efforts towards her talents in hopes of receiving a scholarship. Everything is riding on her ability to get a full ride to college and she must prioritize it over everything. Even the boyfriend she desperately wants.
Speaking of boyfriends, she wants one in order to fulfill her need to feel loved. She knows her parents love her, but it feels more artificial than anything. She wishes she could feel genuinely cared for, wanting someone interested in her instead of her talents.
Just as she puts on performances on a professional level, Annie feels as though she puts on a show for each and every person she meets. She wishes to one day be perfectly genuine with someone.

~BACKSTORY~
Annie's mother died just as she was reaching fifth grade. It wasn't her fault, she passed away in a plane crash while traveling for her business job late in to the night. Of course Annie mourned her death, everyone did, but they all quickly learned to cope.
Her dad loved her mother dearly but knew he couldn't raise his young girl on her own. He married a very kind but overly dedicated young woman whom was willing to take on the challenge.
She wasn't a bad mother, she just didn't really understand her new daughter as hard as she tried. She made sure she dedicated herself to her dance and didn't lose focus as they weren't rich enough to pay for her college in full.
Annie took on the pressure of being successful in every aspect even though it was emotionally too much for her to handle.
