after school at her convenience store again, chaewon made a list of things she wanted. the first of them was a boyfriend : she needed someone to lean on. she did have a best friend, but she was super busy and didn't see chaewon often.

jin suddenly entered the store. he snatched the piece of paper off the desk.
"a boyfriend???" he asked, puzzled.
chaewon blushed. "yeah, someone that's nice to me, that cares about me, that buys me food. why do you care anyway though uh please go away."
jin tilted his head. "love's overrated," he said. "i came to talk to you about your self cutting habit. can i come with you to your house? i live across the road, so it's fine."
chaewon sighed. "why do you even care? you know, you're one of the people making me do,"
"this,"
she pulled out a cutter and slit another, deeper than normal gash on her wrist.
jin winced. "chaechae, put that down. i'm really sorry. just don't hurt yourself," he whispered, shocked at the sudden turn of events.
"jin, i don't know why you keep coming here but IF YOU WANT ACTING LESSONS, GO TO YOUR TUTORS AND LEARN FROM THEM, NOT ME."
he frowned. "but it's not an act, though. i really don't think hurting yourself is good. stop."
chaewon passed out, blood spurting from both her nose and wrist.
"chaechae?"
