Hunter was texting me the plans for the party since Friday after school. It was now Saturday night. He was telling me how excited he was that I was going and that I wasn't going to regret saying yes which I probably will. I didn't know what to wear. I was kinda freaking out. I don't know why considering it was Rachel's party, but I was. I tore through my closet until I found the perfect outfit. I grabbed a black skirt with white poke-a-dots, a white top, a red leather jacket, a necklace, and white heels (the outfit in the middle) to finish the outfit off. I put everything on before doing my make-up. I did my usual. I changed up my hair style this time. I curled my hair and then straighten the ends. I looked at myself in the mirror before smiling and walking over to my bed. I still had a half an hour to spare so I thought I would just scroll through instagram and twitter.

Within 15 minutes of scrolling through instagram and scrolling through twitter, I got bored. I started doing mini laps aroung my room just to keep me occupied. As you can tell, I don't like waiting. Then I heard my phone buzz. I nearly jumped across my room just to obtain my phone. I checked the message and saw that it was from Hunter.

"I'll be there in 2 minutes :)" -Hunter

I felt a little jolt in my heart. Okay, I had to admit I was kinda excited but mostly because I was going with Hunter. He was my best friend and everything we did was always fun and exciting, never dull. What felt like hours, but were only a few minutes, Hunter came ringing my doorbell. I practically glided down the stairs to the door before opening it. Hunter looked at me and smiled. "Wow. You look amazing." he said, scanning my body from head to toe. I blushed a little, but not enough from him to notice. "Thank you." I said, returning the smile, "You don't look too bad yourself."

"I know I know, I clean up nicely," he joking bragged, "No need to tell me twice."

I just smiled and pushed his shoulder gently. He returned the smile before guiding me to his car. When we got to his car, I noticed that he drove a black mustang. It was pretty nice. The interior seats were white leather and the dashboard, radio system, the wheel, and pretty much everything else was balck with white trimmings. It was pretty impressive. "You have a really nice car." I admitted with a little bit of excitment. "Thank you." he replied while proudly smiling.

It took us a good half hour to get to Rachel's house because she lived on the other side of town. When we pulled up to her house, I swear I could feel the car shake becuase the music was blasting from her home. I wonder if she knows about the other people living in the neighborhood? I couldn't help but smile. This was going to be an interesting night.

Hunter had to park on the other street becuase of all the other cars parked on the street where Rachel's house was. I walked a little behind Hunter. Why did I even agree to come? I looked at Hunter who was a good 6 feet ahead of me. I thought for bit and in the end I just smiled. "This is what friends do for each other." I said to myself before shaking any other incoming thoughts. "C'mon Brooke!" he said excitedly, "By the time you get there the party's going to be over."

I just looked at him with an evil grin. I slowed my pace even more hoping to get a reaction from him. And I did. "Seriously." Hunter said annoyed, "My grandma walks faster than you." he finished, trying to insult me which ended up failing. I just chuckled before I picked my pace up and walked into the party with Hunter by my side. Wow. I had to admit this party was amazing. I scanned the room and saw all the happy faces, all the drunk faces, all the people laughing, crying, and then hers.

Hey Hunter!" she practically screamed in her high pitch tone before hugging him, "I'm so glad you could make it!" she finished, leaving her hand on his arm. "Hey Rach! Thanks for inviting me!" Hunter said as enthusically as she did. On the other hand I just stood there awkwardly. I cleared my throat which caught the attention of Rachel. "Oh. Hi." was all she muttered before she turned her full attention back towards Hunter. "Let me get you a drink." she said before dragging him to where she kept the drinks. Great. "This is going to be a fun night." I sarcastically said to myself.
