Waiting for this boy felt like forever. He must've been taking his time cause I swear I was waiting at my locker for a good 20 minutes. Finally after waiting for so long, I saw a boy in a gray hoodie walk over in my direction. His walk seemed slow and cautious.

"Hey." he said rubbing the back of his neck, finally making it to me.

"Hi." I replied. He seemed to be acting shy. This wasn't like him at all, but what do I know. I barely know him myself.

"Um, I wanted to just..." he slowly began. I just raised my eyebrows for him to continue on. "I wanted to apologize for what I said to you in the parking lot. It wasn't my place to say any of that. I don't know you and I don't anything about what's happening in your life." he said ranting on. Damn straight you don't know what I've been through I thought to myself. He just kept blabbering on and on and I swear if I didn't step in soon he wouldn't stop.

"Hunter!" I said stopping him in mid sentence, "It's okay. I forgive you." I half smiled. He gave me the most surprise look anyone could give. "You do? Even after what I said?" he asked. I just nodded my head.

"Thank you." he said through his smile before giving me a hug. Wait. Why is he hugging me? "Alright, alright." I said while managing to push his larger body off me, "No need to get all mushy on me." I playfully said. He retreated his body from mine. "I don't get mushy." he said, trying to be serious and failing. "Oh yea. Right."  I sarcastically said before walking to the school doors. I've been here way too long and any longer I will pull my hair out.

"Wait. Where are you going?" I heard Hunter yell from behind me. I turned around while still walking and saw that he was doing some sort of jog. To be honest, I don't know what he was doing, but it was amusing. "Home." I plainly said before turning my full attention to what's in front of me so I don't wack into anything or anyone.

"I knew that." he said like it was the most ocvious thing in the world. "Then why'd you ask?" I asked glancing at him. He just shrugged his shoulder and continued to walk along side me. As we were walking, I had the pleasure of walking past the snoggest group of girls in shcool. I don't hate people, but these girls are an exception. Peope either want to be them or, like me, don't care for them. I could see Rachel, their "leader" I guess you can say, snickering to her girls. I just looked passed them, but I noticed they were looking in my direction. Was she looking at me? Doubt it. When I followed her eyes, she was looking at Hunter. Not a surprise there. She was after all the hot guys in school and she always got them. I just sighed and kept on walking. Hunter seemed to take an interest because he smiled at her and she waved back in a flirty manner.

"You're into those kind of girls." I asked looking up at him. "Hmm." he plainly stated. "I saw what you did. If you're into girls who are two-faced, then you ought to be with Rachel." I replied. He obviously didn't care what I was saying because he just kept on smiling like he was some kid on Christmas, being given presents and got everything he asked for. "So her names Rachel." he blurted. "Yea. Her names Rachel." I said annoyed. Out of everything I just said, he only got her name. Nice. Trying to inform the kid, but I guess he could care less.

We finally made it out of the school and into the parking lot. I walked over to my car, not realising that Hunter was still following me until he asked me something. "What?" I simply asked. Not knowing what he said. "I said are you doing anything right now?" he asked again, looking at my face for an answer. Second day of school and I already got asked out by the new kid in school who also just flirted with one of the bitchest girls in school. Wow. "I have plans." I said while unlocking my car, hoping he would just leave me alone after that. He didn't. "What kind of plans?" He asked like a little kid wanting to be in everyones business. I scanned my head for something believeable. "I'm meeting my dad in our usual spot." I lied, frowning a little bit and getting into my car. "Oh alright." he managed to say, "I guess I'll see you around. I gave him a little smirk before starting my car and going home.

I finally came home from being out all day. Right after school, instead of coming home, I went to the cemetery to go talk to my dad. I felt like I needed to have these one way conversations with my dad. I went upstairs to my room and fiddled around with guitar. My dad was the one who taught me how to play all the insruments I know. He starting teaching me when I was 6. First the drums, then piano, and lastly the guitar. He was going to teach me another one, but we never got around to it. I tried to play some notes, but every time I tried, it didn't sound right. I got so fustrated and threw the guiter. I could hear the echo it made when it collided with the floor. The sound rung in my ears for a bit before slowly fading out. I let the tears slowly stream down my face. Everything I do or think always remind me of him. I let my head fall to my pillow before going into a deep sleep.

I woke up the next morning with the alarm blarring in my face. I slammed my hand on the clock forcing it to stop ringing. I opened one eye-lid at a time, allowing myself to adjust to the sun that was illuminating my room. I rolled myself out of bed and did my usual routine. Shower, hair, teeth, make-up, clothes. Today seemed chilly so I decided to wear a gray sweater-shirt, pale blue skinny jeans, knee high gray socks, gray boots, a peach colored scarf, and peach colored stud-earings. I put my hair in a loose, messy pony-tail and headed for the stairs. As I was heading out the door I got a text from Crystal to which I quickly unlocked my phone to read it.

"Hey. Where were after your histroy class? I came looking for you, but you weren't there."        -Crystal

I replied to her text telling her that I was talking to Hunter and that he apologized for what happened. Then I mentioned briefly the incident with Hunter and Rachel. I just smiled to myself because I knew how she was going to react. Just as I sent the message, I instantly got one back in return. I opened it and smiled.

"What?! Are you serious?! That girl has some serious issuses let me tell you!"        -Crystal

It went on for a bit more. I finished the reading the text and just laughed to myself. My best friend is a lunatic, but I love her to death. I locked my phone and went to my car. I threw my bag and phone in the passenger seat and headed to the drivers side. I got in and started my journey to Jenkins High School.
