Tim Sutton (the guy who played Tim/Masky in marble hornets) turned 30 in 2018 (and is still 30) Marble hornets began 10 years ago, so Tim was around 20-21 in 2009. Sal Fisher died in 2006 at 25 years old( according to the Sally Face wiki) if he had lived to 2009 he'd have been 28 years old, which means he's 7-8 years older than Tim Sutton. Assuming Tim Wright is the same age as Tim Sutton, if I were to follow the canon timelines in this fanfic, Sal would be older than Masky which I just find fucking weird because Sal looks like a little baby while Tim looks like a dad
