Lily's POV ~

I had my headphones in while working on my homework in my own little world. My door was shut and i really didn't feel like being bothered. But, through my headphones over my loud music i heard banging on my door. Groaning i took out my headphones and opened my door. Jade was just standing there.

"Sorry to bother you." Jade grumbled. She was acting weird. I swear if this has something to do with Calum i'm gonna freak.

"What's up i was just doing homework." I said stepping aside to let her in.

"So i was talking with mom and dad and they wanted me to come talk to you about what you wanted to do about our birthday." She said.

"Okay, why?" I asked.

"Because our birthday is next weekend." She said.

"I know that Jade... I meant why did they want you to come talk to me about it?"

"Because we're twins and it's both of our birthday." She laughed. "And they thought it would be good for the two of us to work it out since we haven't been exactly getting along lately."

"Right... Okay so what did you have as a thought?" I asked.

"Not really sure. I mean 17 isn't like a big deal. What do you think?" She said.

"I was thinking of just doing something with the guys. I figured you and Cal were gonna do something." I said honestly. There was a feeling inside me that i can't explain. It felt good having a normal, none sassy, nasty conversation with her. "I miss you..." I murmured.

We were both sitting on my bed now. I had pushed my stuff onto the floor so there was room for both of us. This was like one of the first conversations we've had in a long time without fighting, yelling, or attitude.

"I miss you too." She sighed.

"Then why do we fight all the time?" I asked quietly but not in a whisper. Before she could answer there was another knock on my door. Slowly the door opened, it was Calum - the answer to the question. She just looked between me and him. "Never mind, i got my answer."

"Lily..." She sighed.

"Just go we'll talk about it later." I looked at Calum who held a smirk. I shook my head at him and Jade turned to him.

"Can you go wait in my room?" She asked.

"Why can't i wait in here with you?" He asked cockily. Staring at the doorframe he ran his fingers down it, almost like it was his bass - the way he moved his fingers against the wall.

"I want to talk with my sister please go wait in my room?" She said as a question with an annoyed attitude.

"Because i don't want you in here." I chimed in, not caring what she said, answering his question. Both of their attentions were now directed at me. "Jade please. We'll talk about this later, just go he's not leaving."

Sighing semi angrily Jade got up. Grabbing Calum's hand she pulled him towards the door. Once they were out the door he stopped, i could hear him talking.

"I gotta go to the bathroom i'll be there in a minute." Calum said. With that i heard Jade's bedroom door close. Seconds later Cal was back in my room closing the door. I hate when he does this it's so risky.

"Out." I said.

"Please listen to me." He begged.

"Out." I pointed to the door.

"Lils." He whispered. My cheeks burned with a tint of red. I had told him numerous times to not all me that anymore. He doesn't deserve to.

"O-U-T, OUT!" I furrowed my eyebrows.
