Lily's POV ~

Coming down the stairs i grabbed my jacket from the back of the couch. Slipping my arms in one by one, i quickly leaned down and tied my shoes. Of course i was running late. Probably leaving Calum to think i wasn't going to show after all. But i was so busy running what i wanted to say to him over and over in my head i lost track of time.

"Where are you going?" Jade asked.

She was wrapped up in a blanket like a burrito on the couch. Her nose all stuffy making her sound funny. Hair all wonky from sleeping all day. With a cup of soup clutched in her hands as she shivered.

"Out." I said.

"Out anywhere specific?" She questioned.

"Calum's..." I muttered.

Looking down at my feet i shuffled them around. A nervous habit i picked up from being around Luke. Reaching over i grabbed my house keys from the coffee table and started my way to the door.

"Why?!" Her eyes practically popped out of her head once she processed what i said. "It's been weeks i thought you had finally decided against talking to him." I shook my head no.

"I told him i wanted to talk. I finally figured out what i wanted to say to him." I said.

"Well good luck." She moped leaning back into the couch, seemingly annoyed and disinterested.

"Thanks...?" I sighed before leaving.

"Just don't do anything stupid Lils." She warned before i shut the door.

The walk to Calum's seemed to drag on. It felt like it took me an infinity to get to his house. I kept repeating my thoughts in my head of how i planned this to all work out. But lets be real it probably won't even go close to where i want it to go. Now i was standing on his porch contemplating knocking at all or going home.

"Come on Lily just knock on the fucking door." I said to myself. "No, no, nope i can't do this i can't do this."

I turned to walk away but mentally scolded myself. I had to do this. I needed to fix this.

"You can do it. Yes, you can do it." I mumbled.

Taking a deep breath i lifted my hand. Closing my fingers i went to knock but before my hand even reached the door it was flung open to reveal Calum on the other side. I stood there shocked for a moment, he had startled me. I wasn't expecting him to be right there.

"Sorry if i scared you, i-I-I just..." Calum stumbled over his words.

"How long were you standing there?" I asked looking at the floor.

"About a half hour." Cal mumbled.

What?

"Oh," I sighed. "Sorry i made you wait."

"I'm just glad you actually showed up." He admitted. "Come in."

Moving over he made room for me to walk in. I shuffled past him into the foyer. Everything felt different, i had been in his house hundreds of times but yet it was so different being back after weeks.

"We can um, talk in my room?" He asked more than stated.

"Sure... Why not." I said.

Silently the two of us made our way up to his room. I kept my distance from him, that was until we got into his bedroom. Where the both of us sat on the end of his bed. Neither of us talked we just sat there.

"So what is it you wanted to talk about?" Cal asked.

"Well," I started. "I'm still mad at you for what you did. It was wrong of you to think you could use my sister to get to me. I don't forgive you for using her. I don't know if i ever will. I also don't know if i forgive you for using me either... You manipulated me. I'm still, still trying to figure that out so i'm not really sure." I spoke quickly.
