I wake up again, this time with something heavy resting on my side. I'm lying down on a hard floor. I open my eyes to find the dark basement. It's not pitch black anymore even though it looks like the candles have gone out. I try to get up but something's not right. I look to see what's on my side. I freeze.

Bound wrists. Large Bound wrists. Hands I would recognize anywhere. Am I dreaming? Am I having a nightmare? I follow the arms connected to my hands and stare in terror.

It's me. I'm lying down in the same jeans and tee-shirt I was wearing... This can't be. I HAVE to be having a nightmare. I try to get up but again something is wrong. I look down at myself.

I'm fluffy and black. I go to touch my face and find paws. Black paws, with pink toe beans. I almost faint right there. Can cats faint? No, what a stupid question I'm not a cat, it's impossible. I look at myself again the REAL me.

Why aren't I waking up? I push the hands away and find them cold. No. I stand and make my way to me. I'm cold as the concrete floor. I try to scream, but it comes out as a yowl. A door opens and lets light flood down into the basement.

"You're awake. Let's go over some rules." The woman walks down the stairs and goes to the side of the room. The woman brings out a chair and sets it in front of me with a bang before sitting down on it.

"Rule Number One. You do as I say. While you were reanimating, I bound your consciousness, your soul or whatever you want to call it, to me. This means you can't escape or disobey me. You will be forced to be my servant until death do us part." The woman crossed her ankles casually as I sat frozen, shocked. What was she going to do to me?

"Rule Number Two. You do not sabotage my business, that you will be instrumental in. If you do I will put you down. Rule number three. If you try to bite or scratch me you will regret it DEARLY. Rule Number Four.  You do not speak unless spoken to. Rule Number Five. You are to call me Mistress, Miss or Eleanor. That is all. Do you understand?"

I tried to respond but it was garbled with my new mouth. "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" Eleanor yelled.

"Yes," I managed. My voice was high pitched and childlike.

"Good," Eleanor replied. She got up and put her chair back. "SAMWELL!" Eleanor suddenly shrieked, startling me. I jumped out of fear. Footsteps starting thudding down the stairs Eleanor had come from.

A boy, around nine or ten came down the stairs. "Get the car ready, we need to get rid of the body." The boy nodded before climbing back up the stairs.

Eleanor pointed at my body and it slowly lifted in the air. Dispose of the body? No! I yowled and tried to hold onto my body. I grabbed onto my jeans and hung on but a sudden force threw me across the room.

I screeched in fear as I watched Eleanor levitate my body up the stairs while following close behind me. I ran at the stairs but as I reached the bottom the door slammed shut in my face, leaving me in the dim basement. I scratched at the door and cried.

Is this woman a witch? What did they plan to do to my body?! I need it. Am I dead? Am I really a cat now? What is going on? I walked back to one of the larger jars in the room and tried to see my reflection in the dim light. It's no use, it's too dark. I need to see my reflection. I need to know if I'm crazy or not.

I focus on walking. Trying to walk with four legs. I can feel something weird behind me and realize it's my tail. I HAVE A TAIL?!

I try to grab it but it keeps out of my reach. I lie down and grab it, but I let go of it when I almost scratch myself with my claws.

I flex my paws, watching as the claws slide in and out of my paws and the weird feeling it left behind. I try walking again falling over a couple of times from trying to consciously think about walking in my new form. My new form... How will my family react? I shake the thought out of my head. I need to focus on escaping.
