4th of July: Part 1

Shannon's POV

Today's the day. The day I will finally get my life together and do what I've been wanting. The day that I put all my happiness into one thing, one thing that will take my life from me and put it into a world with the one person I love. This one thing will show my love, it will show the love I have and will show the love I will always be willing to dedicate to the love of my life.
The ring... again
Yes I'm going to propose again and this time it's going to be real and we are making the wedding happen. I feel like so much has happened that the idea of getting married has just evaporated. And now I just to bring it up again not that I forgot, but you know, just to make it official because my love is crazy for Cari.
I would do anything for her, even if it includes risking my life for her. I'll do
Buy her flowers to show my love. I'll do
Drown her in kisses when she's sad. I'll do
Go out to get her favorite food when she's sick. I'll do
Have a pillow fight when bored. I'll do
I will do anything to make her happy even if it means putting my happiness first. Because that's what she deserves.
So it's a beautiful 4th of July day and today's just the big day. I already have my plan set and ready to go.
So I wake up and go out for a run because why not, the weather right now is perfect. I mean it is hot but still... runs release my stress.
I return to the house with a coffee for Cari, 2 shots of espresso and 2 sugars. Gotta give her the energy right... maybe I'm pushing it... nah she's fine.
I walk up the stairs to Blue on the bed with Cari on her laptop. My stomach flutters at my sight and a smile forms big on my face.
"Good morning beautiful". I encounter her.
"Hey babe, why weren't you next to me this morning, I had to actually cuddle with Blue, after he hounded me for food".
"Sorry babe I wanted to go for a run this morning and I brought you coffee". I hand it to her seeing her smile.
"Aww baby you didn't have to get me anything I wanted to actually go out for breakfast this morning".
Well that stinks, but that's actually a good idea, but still stinks because that will ruin my plan for today. Hmmmmm
"Baby how about I make you an amazing breakfast then we can go to the beach and spend some time with Miles, Ally, Stevie and Steven?"
"Oooo that sounds great, let me shower while you make breakfast okay?"
"Sounds good to me beautiful!" I'm in a really good mood, I might actually be showing it too hard.
So I head downstairs and get out the pancake mix, eggs and milk. I'll have to make a separate batch for me because of the milk, darnit. But thats okay, as long as it makes Cari happy.
I make the pancakes and I put some strawberries on top and set both plates on the table. I go up stairs hoping Cari is out of the shower already, i
m starving. As i'm passing by our room to the bathroom I can hear her beautiful voice.
"Wish I could get a little undrunk so I could uncall you, Five in the morning...."
I slowly walk in the bathroom to see her wrapped in a towel and doing her hair for the day. Dam is she beautiful.
"Baby you sound amazing". I go up to her and wrap my arms around her waist, slowly making the towel fall. I press some warm kisses to her neck, earning a little moan.
"Baby you're already sensitive, miss me..." And with that I pull the towel off but she stops me in mid action.
"Shan stop being a little child, let's go eat crazy before we don't even eat because you have me pinned to the wall". Ah the joking Cari, fine lets go downstairs.
"Okay baby i'll be downstairs waiting for you. Don't take too long or i'll have to come up here again". I walk away giving her a wink.

30 Minutes Later

"Stick, stick to your stones, cause thats all you know. I was caught in the middle. I swallow my words down to the bone".
I'm here on the beach with Miles and Cari, we are still waiting for Ally to come. Cari is singing her heart out while me and Miles are catching up on life.
"Yeah it's going to be my fifth anniversary for my top surgery, it's been tough yet look at me, so many people have looked up to me for it. And I don't know I just feel happy, Im happy where I am and I don't want anything to change. Oh yeah, did you hear i'm going on tour next month. I'm going with Noah. Remember Noah, the quirky little boy?"
"Yea I remember him, you introduced him to me before, but yea that sounds amazing. Tour for me was just such an amazing opportunity. I met so many people and fans. To know the amount of people that came out to support us. But you seemed like you had a blast?"
"Yeah tour for me with you was amazing too, it's just been so long I want to go meet more people now, and we are traveling to the United Kingdom".
"Well that seems good Miles, I'm happy that your going out to explore and meet new people, that's always nice". I glance over at Cari on her phone while her feet are dug in the sand. She looks so hot in the swim suit right now. Dam
"Hey miles lets go for a walk". I give him a look as I need to talk to him. I get up walking over to Cari telling her I'm going on a walk with Miles. I bend down to give her a kiss on her forehead. "I love you babe I'll be back".
"Ew get your slobber out and let's get going Shan". Miles says.
I just laugh as me and miles head off down the beach, towards the water. The water is just beautiful, everything here is really. I stop my motion and take a moment to soak everything in.
"You good Shan?" Miles asks
"Yea I'm fine just soaking in this amazing moment, but there is something I wanna talk to you about".
"Yea I figured since Cari isn't with us, I mean you basically live off of her, if your there, she's there haha".
"Okay so, I've been putting a lot of thought into it and... I'm going to re-propose to Cari..." I look down at the sand, my stomach has this weird feeling. Excitement?
"Omg Shannon that's amazing, whaaaat omg I'm so happy for you, your truly the best human she can ever have".
"Jeesh thanks Miles, but yea I mean I'm in all over heals for her. She's amazing Miles, you don't even know. I mean just look at her, she's a very successful singer who sold multiple albums and is basically famous. She's loving and caring and I really couldn't ask for more". Well it's good to get that off my chest, all the feelings of happiness and clutter just let out. This makes the feeling come back in my stomach, excitement.

3 Hours later

She so beautiful, just laying here in bed with her. Just pure beauty. How can one become so pure and amazing, and how can I become so happy in life? I think that every day of my life.
I have my arm around her and she's taking a nap peacefully after we started something strong but I told her I'm not in the mood. I mean of course I'm in the mood but I got plans and I'll keep those until they happen.
I can hear her snoring alittle and it's so adorable, while she's buried into my chest. I push some strands of hair out of her face which makes her wake up alittle.
"Baby go back to sleep your being cute". She giggles alittle and grips onto my shirt, pulling herself closer to me.
"I want to stay here baby, it's so perfect".
"Nothing's perfect baby, except you, your perfect". I kiss her head and tighten my grip around her like she's about to leave me.
"No baby, just this. You here is just perfect. I don't want to leave your arms I feel safe here". A smile forms onto my face and I push her off of me alittle so I can kiss her.
"Baby I'm tired let me sleep". She puts her hands on her face to stop me from kissing her.
"Baby please, just let me kiss you alittle". I put my hands on her stomach and crunch it making it tickle her. Knowing she's ticklish and if you mess with Cari being tickled you will die.
"Baby nooooooo don't tickle me please I'll do anything". She starts to squirm around, cute.
She takes her hands off of her face and that allows me to kiss her cheek. "Baby I love you".
"I know Shan I love you too, always".
I softly grip her face as I kiss her neck, wanting to get alittle heated. A small moan escapes from her mouth as she gets on top of me, straddling me to the bed. I grip her thighs as she just sits there and smiles at me.
"What baby, you look like your going to murder me". She does look like she's up to something though. But whatever it is I'm ready and oh am I turned on right now.
"Oh babe don't worry, I got this under control".
Cari says as she leans down and bits my earlobe, oh god she's killing me.
