"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." The bartender told me. "What! We just got here! And that bastard started it!" Rouge complained. "If you have violent issues, take it outside." He argues back. She was about to scream at him, I could tell by her expression.

I put my hand on her shoulder, and she looked at me. I shook my head at her. She glared back at the bartender and slammed her cup on the table. She got up, and we walked out of the bar.

"I can't believe them! What the hell did you do!! All you did was defend me!" Rouge yelled in anger. Damn.. So this is how everyone sees me? A violent, soulless hedgehog..? I guess Rouge could tell I was kind of bothered.

"Shadow? Are you alright?" She said. I stared at her for a second. "I guess that's all I am isn't it... Just a raging monster with hate issues.." I sighed deeply. This has always bothered me, but I never showed it. Her face went down.

"Shadow.. No! Why on earth would you say that?" She asked, in a shocked tone. I sighed again. "Rouge.. Look at me. I'm not even human. I'm... Soulless.." I said in a strange tone. Am I actually... Sad??

"Awe Shadow.." She said in a sad tone. Then out of nowhere, she hugged me. I'm usually uncomfortable being hugged, but something was different this time... I felt, happy. And comfortable.

"Wow.. Shadow you're hugging back.." Rouge said. She was blushing of course. But then I felt my cheeks get warm as well. "Shadow, this is the first time I've ever gotten a hug from you. What's going on?" She questioned. How do I answer this..

"Rouge, I don't even know what the hell is going on with me.." I sighed.

Actually... I think I do. As I never EVER, thought Id feel this way again. When Maria was gone, I told myself she'd be the only girl Id love. But.. That might change. I did something I didn't think I'd ever do again. I... Grabbed Rouge's hands.

She stared at me with shock. "Shadow..?" She questioned. I put my head down. Then I felt her put her forehead onto mine. She looked at up me. She had a smile on her face, with her eyes partially shut. It then felt like... I had no control over my body.

I was slowly inched towards her. We were about to kiss...Then I stopped. "What is it Shadow?" Rouge asked. I dropped her hands immediately. "I can't do this Rouge..." I sighed. Rouge stared at me.

"Whatever it is I can help you through it!" She said. "I just... Can't... Im sorry Rouge.." I said. That was the first time in my life, I was filled wht just pure sadness instead of hatred or anger. In embarrassment, I jumped back in my car, and drove off back home...

8:00 p.m.

"Silver, are you ready to go to Tails place?" Blaze said from the dining room. "*sigh* yes." He said back to her. She heard his tone, and walked back on the room. "Silver.. Don't be like that." Blaze said. Silver sighed. "Honey, I know you want to help out with the wedding, I understand that! But, I'm worried about you." She said in a sad tone.

He looked up at her. He was sitting on the bed, while she stood in front of him. "I know baby, but... I just want what you want." He slightly smiled. She smiled right back. Then, she put her hands around his neck, and sat on his lap.

Silver tried to hold his smile in. "Blaze... You're trying to encourage me.. It isn't gonna work." He finally smiled. "Really..?" She smiled. She unbuttoned the two buttons on her stomach revealing shirt. "Blaze it isn't gonna work!" Silver said, looking away from her bra.

Then, she kissed him to shut him up. "Fine.. Let's go." He smiled. She hopped off of him, then they both walked to the outside, locking the door on the way out. They walked to the car and got in.
