I didn't like our arrangement as much as I thought I would. We went down hallways that were too painful to remember, and others that I could remember perfectly. I guess Blaze could tell I was bothered, because she and I both stopped with the group.

"Silv? What's wrong?" She asked me. I didn't answer. "Hello, earth to Silver." she said and waved her hands in my face. "What..?" I said in confusion. "Are you okay? You're staring at the window like you've seen a ghost." Sonic said to me.

I finally spoke up. "This window... I fell through this.. Nearly being killed." I said, as I ran my fingers along the open window. Everybody looked at me shocked, but confused. When did this happen?" Shadow asked, still freaking out.

"When Scourge took over, he pushed me through that window into a jeep. It's a miracle I was still alive.." I said. Blaze should remember that perfectly. "Oh my god, that's terrible!" Rouge said. I flipped the back off my jacket off, to show everybody my scarred up back.

"So that's why you wear that damn jacket all the time.." Shadow said. "Holy crap Silver! Those look fatal! It's nearly impossible you survived that!!" Rouge said. "Yeah. Let's just, get to our room. This place is to painful for me." I said. Sally nodded, then continued to lead us to our room.

Everywhere we passed, it's like I could see Scourge and I. Sonic was right... It's like I did see a ghost. We finally made it to our door, so Sonic and everyone else left us. We walked inside, as noticed it looks just the same as it did years ago.

Except, now we can't walk to the balcony because of the freezing snow.

"Silver, are you okay staying at the kingdom?" She asked me. "Of course. It just... It haunts me a little." I answered as I sighed. "Well, tonight is the Holiday Dinner. So why don't we go to that so we can get a few things off our minds?" Blaze smiled. I smiled back. "Sounds great." I said.

"Good. Now, try and take a nap dork. I'm sure walking in snow wasn't very fun." She joked. I smiled, then laid down. She must have been tired too, because she plopped down right beside me.

"Shadow, staying in the same suite isn't going to be awkward is it?" Rouge asked. "Probably not." He answered briefly. "I'll just take the couch." He said. "Are you sure? It's supposed to get really cold tonight." Rouge said in her tricky tone. "I'll be fine." He said, then sat down in the couch.

"Always so stubborn.." She whispered to herself. He grinned at hearing her complain to herself. "What are you smiling at?" Rouge snarled. "Nothing." He continued to grin. she glared at him, then walked off into the bathroom. "That woman... Always so hardheaded." He said to himself.

He got off the couch, and walked towards the door. Rouge came out as soon as he stood up. "Where are you going?" She asked. "Out." Shadow answered. He walked out, and shut the door behind him. "How does he do that? He sees right through my flirting.." Rouge wondered. She then grinned.

"He just knows what he wants." She said out loud to herself.

Four Hours Later

"Silver, are you ready to go to the dinner?" Blaze said. "Yeah, let me get my boots on." He smiled back. He snapped his boot on by the gold cuff at the top, and stood up. "Okay, let's go." He said. They grabbed hands, then walked out of the room.

"Thank god it's indoors. It looks like it keeps getting worse and worse." Blaze said. "Yeah, I think it'll be... Interesting seeing the entire kingdom in there." He answered back. "I know! And those poor chefs. I bet they had to work their asses off to make so much food."

"Yeah, I wouldn't be able do that." Silver laughed. "You couldn't do that, but you could nearly get killed saving Mobius?" Blaze said. Silver shot a glare at her. "Mmhmm, that's what I thought." She laughed.

They walked all the way downstairs, to the Royal Dining Hall. When they first looked in the dining hall, they were shocked by what they saw. The place was packed full of people. The entire kingdom, in one room!

"Look! There's Sally and Sonic!" Blaze pointed to them. They had special reserved seats because of their highness in royalty. Sally was in a big throne, and Sonic was in a another golden seat right beside her.

"Let's go sit by them! Im sure we have reserved seats too." Silver said. "Yeah, we must. Because there are four blank seats beside them. That's gotta be for us Rouge and Shadow." Blaze said. They were about to go get in line, but Silver felt tugging on his pant leg. He looked down.

Harley the fox was standing there with a smile. "Mr. Silver!" She said in joy as she hugged his leg. "Oh what's up kiddo!" Silver said. "OOO, she's pretty! Who's she?" Harley said happily.

"Oh my bad. Blaze, this is Harley. She led me here when I fell out of the chopper." He smiled. "Awe, well aren't you sweet!" Blaze said to Harley. "She's my girlfriend." Silver said, as he grabbed her by the waist. "Well your gorgeous! How did you get your hair like that?" Harley asked.

"Oh this? I just have some products in there, and a lot of curl iron." She said. "Wow! That's awesome!" Harley said. They all saw a female fox walk over to them. "Hello, I'm Harley's mother." She smiled and stuck her hand out. "Nice to meet you ma'am." Silver and Blaze both smiled.

"Your daughter is very kind. She led me to the castle in the snow." Silver smiled. "So that's where you went!" Her mom said. "Yeah! This guy fell on our snowman out of the sky!" She said In joy. "Really? Out of the sky?" Her mom looked lost. "It's a long story." Silver laughed.

Oh okay. Well it was nice meeting you two. C'mon Harley." The fox said. "Bye Mr. Silver!" She said, as she walked away with her mom. Both waved back to the little fox. "Well she's just adorable! How did you find her?" Blaze laughed, as they continued over to sit by Sonic.

"When I "fell" out of the chopper, I landed on a bunch of kids' snowman. And she helped me find a way to the castle." He smiled. "Wow! She needs to sit by us! I love that little girl!" Blaze said happily. "Okay okay, as can sit with us." Silver laughed.

"Heya Sonic. Nice.. Suit." Silver said, trying to hold his laughter in. "Shut up." Sonic glared. "You look handsome! You shouldn't be ashamed of it!" Sally kind of chuckled. "Are our seats right here?" Silver asked. "Yes, they were reserved for you two." Sally smiled.

"Sweet." Silver said, then sat his food down on the table. He and Blaze both sat down. Silver looked over, and saw Harley with her mom. "Harley! Over here!" He shouted. She turned around, and smiled happily. she ran and dragged her mom over.

"No way! You're friends with the King and Queen?!" She said. "Yeah. This guy is my best friend." He said, as he put his elbow on Sonic's shoulder. "Wow!" She said, as she stared at Sonic and Sally with heart eyes.

Hey guys, I hope we aren't late." Rouge said, as she walked in with Shadow. "No you're fine! Sit!" Sally smiled. "Who's that?" Harley pointed to Rouge and Shadow. "This is Shadow, and this is Rouge." Blaze said happily.

"Heya sweetie how are ya?" Rouge said. "Hi there! I'm Harley!" She said. She just kept staring at Shadow's quills. "Woah.. How'd you do that?" She asked. "Do what..?" Shadow said. "Your hair!" She said interested.

"Oh.. This isn't hair. These are my quills. They just naturally sit like this." He said. "Wow!" she said. "Okay Harley, calm down." Her mother laughed. "So Sonic, whats it like being kong now?" Rouge asked. "I love it! Well... except for the fact that i have to wear these ridiculous clothes!" He complained again. "Nonsense, you look fine King Sonic." Harley's mom said. Everyone laughed.
