"But on to other matters, Agent Shadow." Jameson said. "Sir..?" Shadow questioned confused. "So.. Who the HELL SENT THOSE SOLDIERS OVER SEAS!!!" Jameson yelled. He looked at Jameson confused. "What are you talking about?" Rouge asked.

"Someone sent over 50,000 soldiers to the Dark Kingdom! They somehow accessed a way into command central!" Jameson shouted. "WHAT!!" Shadow yelled. "Where did you hear of this director?" Blaze asked. "This morning it said so on the Mobian News. I just need to know who did it.." James calmed down.

"He called me this morning, so I told him to ask you if you knew anything about it." Sonic stated. "Obviously, it wasn't either one in G.U.N or in the Acorn Kingdom." Silver said. Everyone turned and looked at him funny.

"Silver, what makes you say that?" Sally asked. "Well think about it, if the deputy director doesn't know, or any if the agents, then it must have been someone else. It's gotta be an inside job." Silver said. What he said did make sense.

"Well who could have accessed their way into the control grid without being branded a traitor?" Rouge asked. "It has to be someone who doesn't even work in G.U.N to begin with. A spy." Shadow stated. Jameson stood there for a minute. "Pilot, contact Command Central. Tell them to run a full security scan throughout every soldier and agent." Jameson commanded.

"Yessir." He answered. "So Silver, tell me more about this "dream" with Mephiles." Jameson said as he sat down. "I'll tell ya, but it isn't a happy story." Silver said.

"Lord Mephiles.." Swift said. "What is it, Swift." He answered back shortly after. "I have failed you my lord. They escaped." Swift sighed. Mephiles eyes popped open angrily. "You let them get away.. Why is this.." Mephiles said calmly but angrily.

"G.U.N interfered with my orders. They sent an assault chopper." He answered. "G.U.N has been on my ass for too long now.. We must destroy them from the inside out!" He shouted. "What are you planning my lord?" He asked.

"Tell every one of our spies in G.U.N HQ to initiate plan BACTA. Immediately!" He yelled again. "Understood sir." Swift said, then disappeared. Mephiles got off his throne, and teleported to the cells. He walked over to Manic's cell.

"Told you he'd get away.." Manic smiled. Mephiles phased through the bars, into the cell. He backhanded Manic immediately with his sharp claws. "I will catch Silver, and your misfit brother. And when I do, you get to watch them die!" Mephiles yelled in his face.

"This w-war isn't *cough cough* yours to win.." Manic squeezed out. "This is MY WWWAAAAAARRRR!!" He yelled. "Maybe so, but it isn't your war to win." Manic said, wiping blood off his mouth. Mephiles stared at him for a second. He walked back through the bars. "I will find them. And I WILL have that hedgehog's power." Mephiles said, then disappeared.

Silver

"That's insane! You expect me to believe that!" Jameson shouted at me. "Sir, for everything that has happened, how can you not?" Rouge asked. "I didn't order you to speak Agent Rouge." He said sternly to her. She glared at him.

"It's all true! He's been having the same nightmare over and over again! And now look at their wedding! Don't you think that's more than a coincidence!" Blaze shouted. "I don't want to hear tone from you feline!" He yelled. I was about to lose my temper. "Hey don't yell at her like that!" I yelled back to him.

"I'm in control here hedgehog! Not you!" He screamed in my face. THATS IT!

I stood up and got right in his face. He got closer to me. "Oh look at you hedgehog.. Acting the badass.." He chuckled. I glared at him with hate. "C'mon kid. Lose the powers, let's go a few rounds." He said defensively. I could see his white furry cheeks start to glow red with anger.

"Boys we don't need this right now!" Sally said. She got in between Deputy Director Asshole and I. "Tell pipsqueak to stay out of the way then." He laughed. Who the hell is he calling..

"Pipsqueak?! You wouldn't have even been able to find this bastard if it weren't for me!!" I shouted with rage. "Pilot, how far are we from LZ?" Jameson asked. "1 mile sir." He answered. "Excellent." Jameson grinned. That's not a good thing.

He quickly hit a button that opened the side doors, and kicked me in the stomach out of the helicopter. "SILVER!!" I heard Blaze yelled as I fell out. He knew I could fly, so he pushed me out. But, in this kind of snowy weather I can't fly.

"AaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!" I yelled as I fell closer to the ground. Expecting death, I closed my eyes and waited for impact. But, I landed on a pile of soft snow. I opened my eyes back up, and saw a bunch of kids staring at me.

"Are you okay mister?" A little girl asked me. I looked at her for a second. "Yeah.." I said as I painfully sat up. These must be kids from the nearby Acorn Kingdom..

All the kids started gathering around me. "Wait... You're that gray hedgehog that saved our kingdom!" A boy cheered. "Yeah, I am. Sorry to kill your fun kids, but which way is G.U.N HQ?" I asked. They all pointed to the kingdom. Their HQ is in the kingdom?!?!

"But it's too cold for you to walk there mister. Why don't you let my mom take you!" The same little girl said. "No uh, it's fine. I'll be okay." I smiled. "Well then, let me show you the warmest way there!" She cheered. She grabbed my hand, and started walking to the kingdom.

We weren't very far from the castle, but it wasn't a fun walk. "So, what's your name?" I asked her. "My name is Harley! What's yours?" She said. Damn she's full of energy. "I'm Silver. Silver the hedgehog." I smiled at her. "I like that name! It matches your fur!" She said.

"Yeah... I realize that." I smiled, trying not to be a dick about it being obvious. "Well, we are almost to the castle. Next to that, is the entrance to the HQ." she told me. "Okay thank you. Where are your parents?" I asked. "My mom is working at a diner, and my dad is out overseas." She said. My heart sank.

Her father... Was one of the men sent yesterday... Poor kid. "Well, here you are." She said and stopped. "Thank you. Why don't you run on home. It's too cold for you to be out here." I said. Her little fox nose was redder than it should be. "Okay, bye Mr. Silver!" She said then ran off. Hmm, good kid.

I walked up to the doors, which were being guarded by men in thick coats. They jumped in front of the doors as I walked up. "Relax, I'm supposed to be here by orders." I said. They nodded, then let me in. Boy, they suck at their job.

I walked in, and saw Everyone that was in the chopper except Jameson. "Blaze!" I yelled as I walked up. she turned around, as did everyone else. "Silver!" She ran up and hugged me. "My god, you're freezing!" She worried. "I know.. I wouldn't be if Mr. Asshole didn't throw me out." I shivered.

"Yeah, I'm still surprised he did that." Sally said shocked. "Speaking of trying to get warm, we are all staying in the castle for the next few days." Sonic said. Wait... Aren't we trying to stay away from he kingdom to be safe?!" Blaze said.

"I know.. But they said they have precautions for this sort of thing." Sally said. "... Okay then. Well, where are we staying? I'm freezing and I need a nap." I said, still shivering. "Yeah, we'll come back to the base tomorrow. I'm tired myself." Rouge said. "Okay, I'll show everyone where they're staying." Sonic told us.
