"Connor..." I managed to say silently. I looked at Alliah, who seemed just as confused as I was.
"Hey guys. This is my half-brother, Connor," Jeremiah informed us, making my eyebrows furrow.
"Grayson Connor Wayne," he extended his hand to me and laughed silently at my expression. I shook his hand. It was so soft like a baby's bum. He then went shaking hands with everyone else.
Jeremiah went to me. "Hey, I'm glad you came!"
"Yeah! I am too," I said dumbly. I mentally face palmed myself. "So... He's your half brother?"
He snickered. "Uhuh. Totally unbelievable since we're like practically the same age."
"No hard feelings?"
"No. Definitely not. I mean, at first I was shocked. Who wouldn't be?" he explained. "I've always wanted a sibling since it sucks being an only child. And Connor is cool."
I nod, staring at Connor who was busy talking to Alliah. He glanced at me and smiled. I couldn't believe that I'll ever see him again, even more that he's Jeremiah's half brother.
"KAYLA?!!" I heard someone shout. I turned around and saw Ivan. He ran to me and did his signature hug. I was wrapped around his arms and then lifted in the air. He turned around in circles drawing laugher from me.
He put me down and the world was spinning. I was out of balance but someone grabbed my arm.
"Thanks a lot, Ivan," I said grinning. I closed my eyes and steadied myself.
"No problem, dizzyhead," he laughed.
"You guys know each other?" Jeremiah asked curiously. I realized that he was holding my arm. My cheeks burned from the thought of it.
"Uhh... yeah," I said awkwardly.
"Why, you jealous?" Ivan said wiggling his eyebrows and pulling me into him causing Jeremiah to let go of me. I stumble into Ivan's chest.
"I've known her since forever," Jeremiah said with his jaw clenched. "I bet that's longer than you've known her for."
"Ohhhkaayyy... well you guys fight over here while I go over there," I pointed towards Dian, Ethan, Alliah, Andrew and Connor.
"So you're leaving me for him?" Ivan made an exaggerated sad smile then his eyebrows shot up. "So Connor, huh?"
My eyes widen. I glanced at Jeremiah who had the most frustrated and confused look in his face. I mentally giggled. "Yeah. Connor."

"Give me one more," I begged Andrew, giving him my best puppy eyes imitation. He took a deep breath and handed me one of the mango gummy candies. "Thanks!"
"So much for exercise huh?" Tristan laughed. We've been hiking for about 20 minutes now but I still feel pretty good. After 15 minutes of walking, Andrew took out some candies and started eating them. I had to eat some, too.
"Leave them alone, Tristan," Jeremiah said with an amused look in his face. I felt like we were being bullied by these so called 'cool' people. What? Just because we're not missing out in life and actually know about good candies, doesn't mean they can make fun of us. I suddenly felt like a 5 year old. "Can I have one too?" Jeremiah mimicked my puppy dog eyes and honestly felt embarrassed. No way was he copying me. I did not look like that! Andrew hesitated while trying not to laugh and gave him a mango flavored one. Jeremiah winked at me with a proud smile and popped the circular candy in his mouth. He started chewing it and his eyes widened.
