Chapter 17: Two Demons Clash, the battle against time begins

                                                (Time-Skip Afternoon) (Rocky Cape)

  Boudica watched as a small group of Marines walked to their ship's location at the rocky cape, sliding down a rope that led from the look out to the deck below, she loudly yelled out to her companion in the crew quarters.

Boudica: Ebisu! We have company, Marines Incoming!

Silence for a few moments on the ship and after the sound of running up the stairs, bursting onto the deck a few minutes later carrying Boudica's sword and shield he tossed it to her, pulling out two daggers from the sheaths on his hip wielding them in each of his hands. Boudica nodded at him the two jumped down from the ship onto the solid ground of the cape waiting for the Marines to get closer.

Ebisu: Still no sign of F/n?

Boudica: No, Lilith said she could feel him getting closer but it's still unknown time wise how long until he will get here.

Ebisu: So in other words, we need to hold them off until he gets here.

Boudica: Yeah, Lilith is preparing to set sail the moment he shows up if we can stall them until F/n gets back we should be fine, hopefully....

Ebisu: but still I wonder how they were able to find us?

Boudica: I'm not sure maybe they don't actually know and are just going after us for a different reason.

The marine group stood a few feet in front of the two, one of them stepping forward long back curly hair and a skeletal face with a long neck and flashing his teeth with a ugly grin, wearing an officers Marine coat with a rope tied around his waist and pulling out a gigantic sword aiming it at the two.

T-bone: You two, do you have any relation to the pirate F/n also known as the demonic Kitsune, someone matching his abilities was spotted late last night in a bar. If you do please come quietly with me and lead us to him.

Boudica and Ebisu exchanged glances the former speaking only loud enough for her friend to hear.

Boudica: -He said F/n was spotted using his abilities he could be in trouble-

Ebisu: -maybe but it also seems they haven't found him and even so they still aren't certain it's him perhaps due to him not wearing the mask?-

Boudica:-Seems likely, F/n isn't stupid he wouldn't wear it unless he wants to draw attention to himself-

Ebisu:-So what do you think, deny it and hope they go away?-

Boudica: -i don't think that will work, Marines seem to be the type who already made up their mind even if they are wrong but it's worth a shot-

Boudica: Sorry, we don't know any F/n the two of us are just merchants stopping by water 7 to get our ship repaired as you can see it's in really bad shape!

Boudica felt a glare aimed at her from the direction of the ship, ignoring it for the moment she stared at the Marine.

T-bone: What type of Merchants are you two? what do you sell?

Clicking her tongue Boudica slightly raised her sword ready to attack stopping when Ebisu spoke up.

Ebisu: Various fish, from sea-kings to normal everyday fish she sails the ship I hunt them under water, it's a very simple business.

The marine captain raised his hands behind him out of the view of the two he was questioning signaling them to get ready to attack.

T-bone: It's a big ship to run just the two of you, look I would like to settle this peacefully but we also have a description of the two with him on that day one was a shark fish-man and the other a female with red hair.
