Ex 4: Foreign Substance

                                                              (Time-Skip two weeks)

      The members of the Tartarus stared at each other with pale looks on their face's none of them able to move an inch. Looking at the sight of the "item" in-front of them a shiver ran up their spine and the urge to run far away grew.

Kuan: ....................................

Hawk: ....................................

Ducker: ...................................

Ebisu: ........................................

Sachi: ..........................................

Sachi turned to face the other person in the room with them, like the others her usual tan skin was now a pale white color,  only able to stare down at what was in-front of her any words of comfort escaping her. 

Smoothie: .......................................................................................

                                                   (A few hours earlier)

    Ducker, and Hawk sat on the edge of the ship keeping watch for any signs of potential danger, both of them with a tired look in their eyes from a lack of sleep over the last few days

Ducker: ........Soooo tired.

Hawk: ....Yeah you can say that again.

Ducker: ...............Sooooo tired.

Hawk: I didn't actually want you to say it again.....just agreeing with you.

Ducker: Well how about next time you just say you agree.

Hawk: Whatever i'm too tired to argue with you right now...normally I would challenge you to a fight but not today.

Ducker stared at the blue ocean below watching a fish jump out of the water and then fall back down towards the water with a splash.

Ducker: You know what would help us kill some time what about we fish, aren't we starting to run low on food supplies.

Hawk scratched his cheeks trying to think, with Boudica gone from the crew it was now his job to keep track of all their supplies.

Hawk: I believe so, need to check my copy of the list but we should have just enough until we get to our next destination.

Ducker crossed his arms staring at his friend. Hawk avoiding his gaze able to see the doubtful look coming from Ducker.

Hawk: What? You don't believe that i've been keeping track of our food and the other stuff we use up. Well i'll have you know that I have....

Ducker: Somehow I doubt that...the thought of you working is about as believable as Kuan giving up drinking, or my sister not stumbling over her words.

Hawk let out a sigh of defeat knowing that Ducker had a point but still couldn't help feeling let down that his best friend didn't believe him.

Hawk: I did, after all Y/n said he would tie me up by my ankles and hang me upside down from the look out of the ship if I fall behind on my duties.

Ducker grinned nodding his head with a newfound understanding after hearing what would happen to Hawk if he didn't work.

Ducker: Oh! Now it makes sense you only did your job because the Captain threatened you. I thought It was strange. No way someone like you does work out of the goodness of their heart without some type of reason.
