Annie's POV •
It was the time I had been dreading. We parked outside the airport. I jumped out of the car and helped kenzie with her bags then I wrapped my arms around her. I am aware I may have crushed her ribs a little but I didn't care I was gonna miss her so much. We were both crying as I waved her off. Then she was gone. She was gone for a whole fortnight. I know that may not sound too long but to me it was forever. Dear lord what was I gonna do without her. We FaceTimed through her whole flight and it was probably the best and weirdest FaceTime call I've ever had with her. The old guy sitting beside her was probably worried about our health tbh. Then she had to go. She promised she'd call me when she got home tho. After that I had a really strange feeling in my stomach kinda like when I first realised I liked kenzie. It wasn't a bad feeling no, far from it. It was more like butterflies in my stomach actually no butterflies isn't the right word more like elephants prancing around inside me.
