Chapter 9

It wasn't until I'd finished the story that I realised I had to show it to my mum. I called my mum through and then me and Kenzie watched nervously while she read. Soon she looked up. "Great work Annie" she said. I sighed happily. "Um can I talk to you alone for a minute" she said. "Um uh yeah sure" I said getting scared. Kenzie went back through to my living room. "I'm just wondering are you and Kenzie just friends" she asked. "Obviously" I said beginning to panic. "Alright just curious that was an interesting story that's all" she said and then I ran upstairs. "What was that about?" Kenzie asked. "Uh nothing really just about maths. Boring stuff really" I said sitting down beside her. "Oh alright. Can I ask you something?" She said. "Sure" I said. "Which top do you like more?" She asked holding up her phone to show me two tops off of brandy Melville. "Eh that one" I said pointy at a black top. "Thanks" she said and ordered it. After talking for about an hour we decided to watch titanic. "I love this movie" i said with my mouth full of Doritos. "It makes me depressed" Kenzie replied with her mouth full of popcorn. By the end of the movie me and Kenzie were both crying.
