Chapter 2 : forgive and forget ?

The next morning I woke up to a text from Kenzie. I was going to ignore it but decided I wanted to hear her side of the story. So I went on it.

Kenzie : Hey Annie, Hayden told me about what happened last night and I just wanted to let you know I never wanted to break you too up or get in the middle of anything. I promise I was not flirting back. I eventually blocked him. I only didn't tell u he was messaging me because I didn't want to hurt you I know now that maybe that wasn't the best thing to do. I'm so sorry X

I thought about it for a minute and realised that all in all Kenzie never really done anything wrong. Throughout all the flirty messages she never said anything flirty back.

Annie : hi kenz. Thank you so much for clearing it all up. I don't blame you one bit X

I felt what I had done was right. Me and Kenzie had the potential of being great friends and I didn't want Hayden to get in the way of that.

Kenzie : thank god I felt so bad. So forgive and forget ? Xxx
Annie : course. Boys are just jerks xxx
Kenzie : ikr. I do think the world would be a better place without them sometimes.
Annie : omg how glorious and peaceful would that be lol

Me and Kenzie continued to talk for nearly 2 hours and then we facetimed for hours and became so close. You know what screw boys. Who needs them when you have great friends. Turns out Kenzie is coming to La next week so we can hang out. It's gonna be great. Oml I cannot wait.
