Help From the Other Side (Thranduil Fanfiction)

Chapter 7

I woke up suddenly for no reason why. I look at Thranduil and Legolas on the bed and I thank God they're there. I thought they left already because I thought it is morning already. I will not allow Legolas to go out even if he says he is alright.

I checked the little guy and I am thankful his fever went down already. I smiled as I look at him. I pull the blanket to his body and get another blanket on the closet for his drunk dad. After that, I went out and decided to go to the kitchen to ask the cook to cook me porridge for Legolas and soup for his dad. Sometimes, I am thinking that I am a personal assistant of Thranduil because I always take care of him. I thought he said I will only take care of Legolas? It turned to be.... Well, different.

I had the foods on a tray when I went back to the room and as I get there, I saw Thranduil waking up and began to hold his head because of pain.

"So... Does drinking gets someone better?" I said and put the tray on the side table.

He looks at me surprised.

"What does that look suppose to mean? It is not my fault your head is throbbing in pain." I said with my brow raised.

"I didn't say anything." He coldly say. I smiled at him and began to get the soup from the tray and pass it to him.

"Here, have a soup to remove that hangover." I said. Just when Thranduil received the soup, Legolas woke up just the same.

"How are you, Darling? How do you feel?" I asked and rubbed his back and hold his cheeks.

He smiles at me.

"I'm alright now. Can I go out today?" He asked. I only smiled at him and mess his hair.

"Love, I am afraid I won't allow you. You have to stay and rest. After this day, you can now go out. I have to ensure your health." I said and smiles at him. He only nods and starts to eat the porridge as I gave it to him.
