He lost him....

Again....

"Oh god..." He whispers to himself, cracking further away from his demon. His mate. His lover.
"Meliodas, forgive me..."
Tears begin to flow down his puffed up face, for once feeling so weak.

Not again...
I don't want to lose you too...

He sniffles, rubbing his red, stuffed up nose.

I want you back...
Can't I not have you back in my arms?

He felt the stinking pain again, throbbing and pounding like a heart beat. Was it his real heart. Crying sorrowfully and pitifully for a demon that is once again not in his sight.

If only he didn't lose him that one night, maybe everything would be different.
They could have had their unborn child peacefully and live as a small family in their own place, besides a small tavern.
They could have reminded each other everyday that they love one another, and most of all their baby.

He heard foot steps lightly touching the ground, he assumed it was Zeldris.
He can sense their eyes on him.
They stayed quiet...
Arthur broke the silence with a small whisper, but Ban didn't care for anything at all. He didn't listen - he couldn't listen - let alone focus on anything, but Meliodas.

Meliodas...

Don't leave me alone...

He takes in a stuttering breath, now standing from a dark shriveling tree. His back felt scarred and scratched from the hard sharp ends of the decaying, dead bark of it.

Again, he sensed the painful sting of his mate desperately calling for him, his breath hitches at the pain, cursing under his breath.

"I'll fight for him..." He bites.

That's when he heard from Zeldris, "If those creatures are now set loose by the king of the dead, his means war."

"What?" Arthur starts. "Wait, isn't there any other way? A peaceful way that doesn't waste precious blood."

"No, there is not." Zeldris bites his tongue. He couldn't believe the foolish blindness of Arthur, how much more blindness and foolish acts could a king contain?

"You guys should go, I'll keep watch down here." Ban jumps in the conversation and leaves Arthur stuck on his words for a few seconds.

"What? But, Purgatory isn't safe for you---" the king states

"Yes it is, for a mortal king like you, I'm immortal, I'll heal in a matter of no time."

"Come on Arthur," Zeldris lightly touched Arthur's shoulder, pulling him back.
The king said nothing in reply - couldn't say anything.
"We'll take the advantage from outside of Purgatory; plan ahead the attack and defense of both realms."

They we're gone in a flash, Ban couldn't see them; assuming they left Purgatory.

He balls up his hands into fist. Feeling so weak at his 'attempt' to save Meliodas. His own lover. His own demon to take care of. His own mate to show affection to and be given back.

Again the stabbing pain goes off again, the burning of his flesh was what it felt like. Like his skin lit with tiny flames and the highest bolt of electricity through his spine and up.
Their bond is definitely strong and on going, his mark has not been faltered on his demon. He still has time.
That's all he needs; just a little more time.

The pain starts to tingle on his skin making the hairs of his neck stand, due to it's sensation.
It makes his heart leap for some particular reason. He felt as though his demon was trying to talk to him... Or guide him.
