She puts a hand over her mouth from pure bliss as she saw her kind gathered on sacred ground. A demonic haven whereas only demons truly knew where it was. Demons that looked like humans flew in the air carrying what looked like valuable supplies. She heard peaceful chatting of her people's tongue and laughs from youth. They all looked like normal people.

The strange blond that rescued her once enslaved family smiles brightly with open arms, "welcome home my brothers and sisters and please recover from your experience from the enemies. In forty-eight hours, we meet in the center of this haven."

Just before she was about to head off the strange demon came up to her, "I believe this is my first time seeing you, what's your name?" She didn't respond, only stared blankly at him. He was almost surprised by her confused expression, "I'm sure you understand me, do you not?"

She nods but he couldn't help but tease with a grin, "yes you can't understand me? Or you do?" He chuckled when she looked at him with an annoyed look, "I'm joking." He looks away for a bit to acknowledge the smell of mouth watering feasts being made by his people. Then looks to the demoness again. He's been following her for a few minutes now, but their conversation was cut quite short by her refusing to speak. He clears his throat, "if I may ask, what is your name? I've never seen any demon as brave as you back there, the usual response to a fight was fear and cower away; however, you surprised me with your determination."

She continued to walk and explore the sacred lands of the haven, almost ignoring him, but still listening.

"Please, I would like a name, we need someone like you on our side to lead and fight for the freedom of my people - your people." She stops by this and faces him with an unwavering look.

She finally spoke, "you only want to dominate the goddess clan behind the words of wanting to free your people. How can I even begin to think of sharing my name to a demon who plans to not only save his people from danger, but train them to run back into danger blindly."

He simply denies her saying, "relax, I don't plan on putting my people into further danger just to fight against the goddess race." He crosses his arms and deeply sighs, "besides, we wouldn't last very long since all  clans, except ours, have sided with the goddesses."

She gestures a hand, "why not make a treaty? Peace offering? Have you even tried to ask why they want to kill us?"

He sighs once more, "they only respond with the same answer. We're ugly, disgusting, pathetic, a race that never deserved to exist." They stop in their tracks where not a demon, nor soul, wondered in bliss. They were miserable and some seemed to have lost any hope of having a chance at recovery. "If we didn't deserve to live, why are we here?" Her hands were carefully cupped in his and their eyes finally met. Emerald met with black opal.

She shakes her head, "I am not sure, and I'm not going to kill thousands of lives just to find the answers that I don't need."

"But I need them, and even the smallest bit of help I'll be thankful. If I can't even protect my people by teaching them to fight back and protect each other, what do you suggest then..?" He firmly asked, along with his brows kitting through his endless thoughts that scatter like the impact of glass being broken on the floor.

She loosens her tense frame and softens her expression. "I - we can't..." Her eyes rotate constantly to avoid the awkward eye contact they proceeded with. Then clears her throat in order to regain her composure, "I'm not going to kill; however, I can help with keeping the people safe."

He cocks his head, "what do you mean?"

She slightly smiles, "why should I tell you, stranger?"
