Faith's POV

I shook my head, no way did I want to tell Tyler that I was assaulted by my band member.

"Faith you know we have to," Brendon said.

I sighed, "Yeah, I know."

I followed Brendon into his car and the only noise in the car was the radio as we drove the 2-minute trip to Tyler's house. We were going to deal with all the charges on Kenny later until the police got the whole story. I leaned my head against the window and waited for this nightmare to end.

Brendon's POV

I can't believe Kenny did that. I was fuming, but I knew I had to keep my anger in for Faith. I can't believe that I hit her. I'm so protective of Faith so, even if I was drunk, how could I ever yell awful things and then hit her. I pondered about it the whole way to Tyler's. I pulled up in the driveway and got out of the car along with Faith. She pulled her sleeves over her hands before walking into the house.

"Tyler!" Faith called out hesitantly.

Tyler walked into the room and looked up at me with an angry glare.

"What are you doing here?" Tyler asked staring at me.

"Look I need to talk to you-"

"Did you hit her again?" Tyler asked accusingly.

"What-no," my eyes widened in shock.

"I see your knuckles, Brendon," Tyler said.

I glanced down and saw my knuckles were split open from punching Kenny.

"Look let's sit down, we need to talk about something that happened to Faith. Josh and Jenna should hear this too," I said, glancing at Faith, who looked at the ground, her cheeks stained with tears.

Tyler looked at me and then to Faith, his eyes softening.

"Fine," Tyler said simply. Not in a hard voice but not in a soft one either.

He yelled for Jenna and called Josh, who drove over and arrived a few minutes later.  Josh walked into a door, an almost identical looking boy following him.

"Jordan just, uh go upstairs or something, this doesn't include you, sorry bud," Josh said to the boy. I then realized that that was probably Josh's brother. (I know Jordan is 24 but he's going to be 16 in this)

Jordan looked at Faith as he walked up the stairs. And that's what brought us here, Tyler, Jenna, and Josh all staring at me while we sat at the table.

I cleared my throat, "Ok, um today Faith came over to me because he told me Kenny sent her a... picture of his..." I trailed off. I could see Tyler's eyes spring open as rage radiated off his body. "Then-"

"There's more?" Tyler roared.

"Yeah, um, when I went to Zack to deal with it, I came back and Kenny was, uh, touching Faith," I stuttered out, afraid of Tyler's reaction.

Josh and Jenna's jaws dropped and Tyler jumped up from his seat, his body tensing.

Faith's POV

I was scared of Tyler, scared of what he would do.

"And you just let that happen!" Tyler yelled at me, "you didn't even try to fight back?"

And this is what I was scared of, Tyler freaking out and becoming just like my biological dad.

"I-I'm sorry I just froze," I stuttered out, leaning back in my chair.

"Well snap out of it, you could've easily just kicked Kenny or something. You're so weak that you can't even protect yourself!" Tyler yelled in my face.

I fell off the chair and fell on the ground as I scrambled away from Tyler. He was about to yell something else but I didn't hear it as I got up from the ground and bolted upstairs to my room. I grabbed my razor and raced to the bathroom. I sat against the wall (Won't be graphic) and got to work. I was in the middle of a cut when the door opened.

"Oh-shoot sorry-wait-" I heard someone stutter.

I looked up in fear that it was Tyler but only saw Jordan.

I hid my hand behind my back, "It's not what it looks like I-I swear," I tried to convince Jordan, tears rolling down my face.

Jordan grabbed a towel and pressed it against my wrist, sitting down next to me. We sat in silence until he spoke up.

"I'm Jordan, by the way. I'm Josh's brother," Jordan said softly.

"I'm Faith, Tyler adopted me," I whispered after a few seconds. "I'm sorry, you really don't have to do this."

"I want to help, I'm sorry you had to go through this," Jordan said, looking at me.

I looked back at him and we just stared at each other. In those few moments that we looked into each other's eyes, I felt something I haven't felt in a while. I felt trust. I felt that feeling in my heart, the feeling that just makes you so happy that you can't explain it. I felt like someone cared. I smiled, turned my head, and rested my head on Jordan's shoulder. And we just sat like that for a while, thinking.
